Miley Cyrus is not a Rebecca Black fan. In a recent interview with Australia's Daily Telegraph, the 18-year-old slammed Black for becoming famous overnight for her Youtube music video ‘Friday.’
"It should be harder to be an artist. You shouldn't just be able to put a song on YouTube and go out on tour,” said Cyrus, who shot to fame on the Disney show ‘Hannah Montana.’
Although ‘Friday’ gained attention for all the wrong reasons – the video has sparked numerous parodies and jokes, and recently beat Justin Bieber for the most dislikes for a Youtube video with more than 1.2 million thumbs down – Black is pushing her career forward with a follow up single called ‘LOL.’ The 13-year-old is apparently learning to ignore all the criticism that came with ‘Friday.’ She recently admitted she was hurt by all the negative comments.
"Those hurtful comments really shocked me," she told Good Morning America earlier this month. “At times, it feels like I'm being cyberbullied."
Black may not have Cyrus as a fan, but she has received support from other celebrities including Lady Gaga, Simon Cowell and Chris Brown.
