Katy Perry Adds Dates To Califorina Dreams Tour

Katy Perry has added eight additional U.S. dates to her California Dreams World Tour. The dates extend Katy’s tour into the month of September, landing her in San Antonio, Texas on the 7th and wrapping up in Tulsa, Oklahoma on September 17th.  Janelle Monae will open all the new dates. The tour gets underway June 7th in Atlanta.
For the tour, Katy is using cool technology called "Tweet-to-Screen" to allow her fans to express their enthusiasm and excitement at her performances. All of her shows will feature huge on-stage screens that will display concertgoers’ live tweets and photos before Katy hits the stage. A mini version of Tweet-to-Screen will also be featured on the singer’s tour diary on her website.
In addition, a portion of the proceeds from some of the best seats at select performances will be donated to three charities selected by Katy -- Generosity Water, The Humane Society of the United States, and the Children’s Health Fund. So far, her fans have raised over $100,000 in charitable donations. Tickets for these special seats can be purchased atTicketsforCharity.com
