Ashton Kutcher Invests in Internet Travel Site

Ashton Kutcher is eager to boost his earning potential by ploughing money into the internet - he's invested in a new travel website.

The actor, who landed one of the biggest jobs on TV after taking over from troubled Charlie Sheen in Two and a Half Men, is a huge fan of the web and was one of the first celebrities to become hooked on social networking phenomenon Twitter.

And the star is hoping his online knowledge will make him an internet entrepreneur after he invested a large sum into airbnb.com - a site which helps users plan their vacations.

According to the Los Angeles Times, the site is a place "where people can list and book places and things (apartments, sailboats or even the occasional castle) for traveling and vacations."
