The milestones keep a coming for Lady Gaga as she has become the first Earthling to reach the lofty target of 12,000,000 Twitter followers. Gaga accomplished the feat Thursday, July 28, 2011 and as of this writing has 12,079,517 followers. She is ahead of Canadian teen Justin Bieber by about 800,000 followers.

Lady Gaga was the first to hit 9,000,000 Twitter followers, pulling that off in March of 2011 and since has eclipsed new milestones every two months or so. She had vaulted into the Twitter lead somewhere back around 6 million followers when she passed Britney Spears in August of 2010. Kelly Osbourne Joins Winehouse Family at Jazz Club Tribute

Kelly Osbourne joined Amy Winehouse's family at her late pal's favorite jazz club in London on Thursday night (28Jul11) to celebrate the tragic star's life.

Ozzy Osbourne's daughter jetted into the British capital earlier this week (beg25Jul11) to pay her respects at Winehouse's funeral, following the Rehab hitmaker's sudden death on Saturday (23Jul11).

On Thursday, the singer's dad Mitch handed out items of the star's clothing to fans holding a vigil outside her home in Camden, north London, and he followed up the gesture by joining the singer's close friends and family at Jazz After Dark in Soho.

Guests, including Winehouse's boyfriend Reg Traviss and singer Eliza Doolittle, exchanged stories and memories of the star throughout the evening.

Meanwhile, Osbourne was photographed giving Mitch Winehouse a tender hug, while the late singer's mother Janis laughed as she swapped her own tales of the iconic star.

Ashley Greene to Roommate Kellan Lutz: 'Don't Bring Anyone Home. Ever.'

Ashley and Kellan on the set of  New Moon.
We guess they didn’t get sick of working with each other, because Twilight stars Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz are now planning on becoming roomies. Hollyscoop.com talked to Greene about how her new living arrangement is going to work.

“We have been discussing possibly sharing a place in New York because we both always talk about how much we go and how much we love it,” Greene told Hollyscoop.com at the Ella Moss 10-year anniversary event.

“It’s quite expensive to have a place here and there. I have a place in New York right now. We are kind of talking about maybe trying to find…a two bedroom. It’s going to be cheaper than what I have now. We are going to try to find something. Hopefully we can both agree on something.”

And while their relationship is strictly plutonic, we can’t help but wonder if there might be a budding romance going on.

“I think the rule is don’t bring anybody home, ever,” Green told HS.

The two are apparently BFFs off set, and they play adopted siblings in Breaking Dawn so it would sort of incestual if they did hook up. .

Lutz says of their rooming together: “We're never here at the same time but we both love New York. So we'd be roommates without being roommates... more like housemates."

eat Loaf Collapses During Pittsburgh Concert, Treated By Medics

Meat Loaf fainted on stage during his Pittsburgh concert Thursday night, but that didn’t stop him from finishing the show.
The 63-year-old was in the midst of singing “I Would Do Anything For Love” when he suddenly collapsed. Paramedics rushed on stage and treated Meat Loaf for an asthma attack. Just 10 minutes later Meat Loaf was back to performing.
“Like twice as many of you, I f**king fainted. I have asthma … I can’t breathe … and then … oh wait, I forgot … I got poked by a pin and bled half to death … and then I got slapped in the face and my tooth is loose,” he told the audience.

Katy Perry Makes MTV VMA History

With the recent announcement by MTV that Katy Perry had been nominated for nine 2011 MTV Video Music Awards, the most for any artist this year, the global pop superstar has also set a record, becoming the first artist in MTV history to be nominated for four separate videos in one year. Katy’s nominations include “Video of the Year” and “Best Female Video,” for her No. 1 smash “Firework,” “Best Pop Video” for “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.),” and “Best Collaboration” for her No. 1 single “E.T.” featuring Kanye West — this year’s current top-selling digital song in the U.S.

Katy has been nominated for the following awards: Video of the Year and Best Female Video for “Firework,” Best Pop Video for “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.),” Best Cinematography for “Teenage Dream,” and Best Collaboration, Best Art Direction, Best Direction, Best Editing, and Best Special Effects for “E.T.” (featuring Kanye West).  The 28 annual MTV Video Music Awards will air live from Los Angeles’ Nokia Theatre Sunday, August 28.

Nirvana: Nevermind 20th Anniversary To Be Released

Released in September 1991, Nirvana's sophomore album and major label debut elevated Kurt Cobain, Krist Novoselic and Dave Grohl from a critically acclaimed Aberdeen, Washington, cult band to generational spokesmen who'd unwittingly created a cultural shift and musical touchstone. Rising to No. 1 the world over by year's end and ultimately selling over 30 million copies worldwide, Nevermind would come to be much more than one of the most successful and influential albums of its or any era.  As the album that returned unaffected rock ’n’ roll integrity and passion to the top of the charts, Nevermind would prove a singular inspiration to fans and musicians alike over the last two decades--and will undoubtedly do so for generations to come.

Now on the occasion of Nevermind's 20th anniversary, Universal Music Enterprises presents a full spectrum re-release worthy of such a pivotal classic. With configurations ranging from a 4-CD/1-DVD Super Deluxe Edition to a standard digital/CD remaster of the original album, the 20th anniversary reissue of Nevermind makes the most of the occasion, unearthing literally dozens of previously unreleased recordings, obscure B-sides, alternate mixes, radio sessions, studio rarities and live recordings, including a 1991 Halloween concert at Seattle's Paramount Theatre in its entirety.

The limited, numbered Super Deluxe Edition more than lives up to its name as one of the most expansive and ambitious collections of its kind with only 10,000 copies available in North America, and another 30,000 for the rest of the world. The Super Deluxe features not only the original remastered album and accompanying studio and live B-sides, but the first full official release of the pre-Nevermind demos recorded at producer Butch Vig's Smart Studios, as well as boombox recordings of subsequent rehearsals through which the listener can actually experience "Smells Like Teen Spirit," "Come As You Are," "On A Plain" and others that take shape before his or her very ears. The Super Deluxe also offers an altogether new perspective on the finished Nevermind album exclusive to this format in the form of the Devonshire Mixes: the album as produced and mixed by Vig as opposed to the commercially released final version produced by Vig and mixed by Andy Wallace. Rounding out the Super Deluxe are a pair of previously unreleased BBC recordings and the aforementioned 1991 Paramount show available for the first time and exclusive to this format on CD and DVD (which also features all four music videos from Nevermind), as well as a stunning 90-page bound book full of rarely and never- before-seen photos, documents and various other visual artifacts of the Nevermind era.

Amy Winehouse - Amy Winehouse Didn't Complete New Album

Amy Winehouse did not complete a third album before her death.

The 'Rehab' singer had been working on new songs since 2008, but her long time collaborator Salaam Remi - who produced tracks on her two albums 'Frank' and 'Back to Black', and was working with her at the time of her death - said nothing had been completed specifically for her third record.

Speaking on New York radio station Power 105.1 FM he said: "We were working on it; it's not a complete album. We had a lot of things going, there are recordings, but first things first, I think. We're trying to focus on what's at hand and what her family wants to do. So those reports of a release are false."

He did, however, add that the 'Tears Dry on Their Own' singer was as at her creative and emotive best when it came to writing new material up until she died.

He added: "To put it all in a nutshell, Amy loved to sing, to write- that ability never left her. She was very good at channelling her emotions into lyrics, and then being able to sing them. She was in a place to go forward and make it happen.

"The way that Amy and I always created was she would write and we would toss ideas around.

"Amy had strong opinions on everything. She was very opinionated about what she liked. At the end, she was a real person. She had a huge heart."

Amy was cremated on Tuesday (26.07.11) in North London.

The Poker Face hitmaker was acting as a guest judge on the reality contest alongside panellists Rob Marshall, Nigel Lythgoe and Mary Murphy.

But when she was faced with judging a contemporary routine by dancer Marko Germar, which aimed to promote more tolerance and less judgement in the world, she was overcome with emotion.
She choked back tears as she told him, "I'm just so proud of you. You really love to dance... There were so many things I did wrong when I was younger and so many things I wish I could take back. I felt every moment of that in your dance tonight.

"You are absolutely incredible. Whether you are number one, three or 10, you have it."

Amy Winehouse Boyfriend Red Traviss Speaks Out

Amy Winehouse’s boyfriend of two years, film director Reg Traviss, has spoken out about the Grammy winner’s sudden death.

"The last three days have been hell. I want to thank all those who are mourning the loss of Amy -- such a beautiful, brilliant person and my dear love," Traviss told The Sun.

Traviss also denied rumors Winehouse went on a drug binge in the days leading up to her death. "She has been full of life and so upbeat recently, exercising everyday and doing yoga,” he said.

Winehouse was cremated Tuesday afternoon following an hour long memorial attended by about 150 of her close friends, family members and co-workers. London’s Metropolitan Police are awaiting toxicology test results to establish a cause of death for Winehouse after an autopsy did not yield any information on what killed the 27-year-old singer.

Chris Goodman, a close friend and rep for the ‘Rehab’ singer, has revealed Winehouse died in her bed after lying down to nap. Her body was discovered by a security guard. "She was in her bedroom after saying she wanted to sleep, and when he went to wake her he found she wasn't breathing. He called the emergency services straight away. He was very shocked. At this stage no one knows how she died. She died alone in bed,” Goodman told TMZ.

The Stars Arrive To Amy Winehouse’s Funeral

Kelly Osbourne and Mark Ronson were among the first of the guests to arrive to Amy Winehouse’s funeral at the private ceremony at Edgewarebury Cemetery in London.

How Did Amy Winehouse Die?

This is not a story about a “superstar” who lost her way and subsequently her life due to her decisions which lead to addiction to drugs and alcohol. I won’t list off for you all of the awards she received or the
magazines in which she was the feature story. This is not a story of her  success, because her success now has much less meaning. In the end she left those that loved her most to deal with the remnants of a life she chose to live and the choices that took that life away from her. This is the story of the pieces
left behind.

At the age of 27, Amy Winehouse had done  what millions of Americans do every single day, she battled an addiction. Unfortunately, we realize yet again that fame  and fortune is never going to be a drug rehab. Though there is no autopsy to corroborate this  information today, soon the so often heard news will once again plaster our  internet and magazine pages of a life cut way too short. It will read of  numerous drugs of elevated amounts that ultimately caused cardiac arrest and eventual death of this talented young lady.

Amy Winehouse was a daughter and an aunt and  a friend before she ever became a superstar of the music stage. This is the story that needs to be told because this is not anything new or more tragic
than the drug related deaths caused by poor choices made by others every day. The only difference is you just don’t hear about “Billy” who used play baseball in high school or “Susie” who loved to write poetry about the world she had not yet travelled. These  tragedies are not front page news or spreading across the world-wide web, but
they are no less tragic.

With millions of people addicted to drugs and alcohol in the U.S., even checking into drug rehab every day, and sadly, hundreds who decide not to - many of them dying every day, the headlines  of stars that die are only a grain of sand in the overall epidemic of addiction related deaths. As much as I wish to never read of another life cut short for those with gifts of music or drama, imagine if every drug related death became front page news. Imagine the stories of “Billy” and “Susie” on the front page
when you open your paper at the breakfast table or when you log-on to your computer. These tragedies might make the obituaries of your local paper with  funeral schedules and a couple lines to describe the person ripped from the ones who loved them. This in itself maybe almost as tragic.

If you know of someone who is suffering from drug and alcohol addiction, there is a drug rehab in Springhill Florida in Hernando County that can help. Please don’t let them continue  on their path of poor decisions and destruction and become another untold story. Get them help,
please!

Katy Perry: "Amy Winehouse's Death Makes Me Grateful For Russell"

Pop star Katy Perry has a new-found appreciation for her husband RUSSELL BRAND's sobriety following the tragic death of his troubled pal AMY WINEHOUSE.

The Firework hitmaker was among the many celebrities who took to their Twitter.com accounts on Saturday (23Jul11) to express their sorrow over Winehouse's sudden passing at the age of 27.
But Perry admits the sad news hit her hard because it made her realise that Brand could have faced a similar fate if he hadn't managed to overcome his long battle with drink and drugs.

During an appearance on U.S. breakfast show Good Morning America on Monday (July 25), she said, "My heart felt really sad. My husband, who's been clean and sober for almost nine years, you know, I see him working (on) a (sobriety) programme and working on himself every single day and I see how much work it takes to be clean and sober when you have addiction on your hands.

"So it gave me a real gratefulness for my husband, who got clean when he was 27. And I just feel sad and I hope she finds peace." The cause of Winehouse's death has yet to be revealed after an initial post mortem examination on Monday (July 25) proved inconclusive.

Check Out Katy Perry’s Smurf Sized Dress!

Katy Perry made a statement at the premiere of The Smurfs in New York City in a cocktail dress that looks to be enough to, well, fit a smurf.
Along with blue shoes, blue eye-shadow and a custom Smurfette dress, it’s clear that the pop superstar wants to make a big tribute to the iconic cartoon figures.

Early Report States No Drugs Found Near Amy Winehouse's Body

The exact cause of Amy Winehouses’ early death may remain
unknown until the results of a toxicology report return, but the 27-year-old
singer reportedly died alone in bed, with no sign of drugs at the scene.
According to People magazine, Winehouse was found in her bed
six hours after telling her security team she was going to sleep.
It’s suggested she may have been dead for hours, because rigor
mortis had set in by the time her body was discovered.
Although it’s speculated that Winehouse’s death is drug
related, recent check ups with doctors apparently didn’t raise any health
related red flags.
As the five-time Grammy winner leaves her fans, family and
friends devastated and without answers, the only certainty is that she was a
great talent that will be missed.
