Jim Carrey is Officially a Sugar Daddy, Says SeekingArrangement.com Creator

Jim Carrey was spotted holding hands with a new mystery woman in Los Angeles this week. Less than 24 hours ago,New York Post revealed that the mystery lady is in fact Anastasia Vitkina, a 23 year old college student from New York who began dating Jim Carrey after his split with Jenny McCarthy last year. According to New York Post, Vitkina has been flying back and forth from New York to Los Angeles to see the actor.

Since the two were spotted together at a Guns N’ Roses gig in Los Angeles this past week, the media has been quick to analyze their relationship. So, how does one classify Jim Carrey’s relationships with Anastasia Vitkina?

Brandon Wade, the creator of SeekingArrangement.com, the largest sugar daddy dating website, announced today that the relationship between Jim Carrey and Anastasia Vitkina as described by the New York Post article is similar to the hundreds of thousands of romantic relationships formed between older Sugar Daddy and younger college Sugar Baby members of his website.

“If media coverage of their relationship is accurate, that would make Jim Carrey a Sugar Daddy, and Anastasia Vitkina his College Sugar Baby,” says Wade, who is also the author of The Definitive Guide to Sugar Daddy and Mutually Beneficial Relationships. “A Sugar Daddy is a successful, wealthy and usually older man who is willing to pamper a Sugar Baby in return for friendship, companionship or romance.”

John Mellencamp: It's About You—New Indie Film

It's About You is a new musical documentary that offers a rare and intimate look at the life and music of Rock and Roll Hall of Famer John Mellencamp. The film premiered at this year’s SXSW festival and follows Mellencamp on his summer 2009 concert tour and during the recording of his most recent album, 2010’s universally acclaimed No Better Than This, the sessions for which took place at American musical and historical landmarks, including Sun Studios in Memphis and the First African Baptist Church in Savannah, GA. We see Mellencamp recording – with a single mike and mono tape recorder more than half a century old – in the same hotel room where legendary bluesman Robert Johnson created some of his most memorable work. Along the way, Mellencamp reveals a side not often seen by the public, in a film that becomes a soulful, highly personal meditation on small-town America.

Kurt Markus’ photography has appeared in such leading publications as Vanity Fair, Rolling Stone, GQ and The New York Times Magazine, and he has shot cutting-edge ad campaigns for BMW, Armani, Nike and other companies. His unique vision has been brought to bear on IT’S ABOUT YOU, which was shot on Super 8 and whose vintage Americana look is the cinematic equivalent of a well-worn pair of jeans.

Lady Gaga's Former Aide Files Lawsuit

Lady Gaga's former assistant is suing the pop superstar's touring over allegations she's owed money for unpaid overtime.

Jennifer O'Neill was employed as Gaga's aide for 13 months while the singer toured, and claims she was required to be at the star's beck and call at her "earliest waking hour."

In her legal papers, O'Neill alleges she had to make herself available to the Poker Face hitmaker in "stadiums, private jets, fine hotel suites, yachts, ferries, trains and tour buses," with her tasks including "ensuring the promptness of a towel following a shower and serving as a personal alarm clock to keep (Gaga) on schedule."

But she is not suing her demanding ex-boss. O'Neill has filed suit against the star's representatives at Mermaid Touring Company instead.

She is demanding the $380,000 she is reportedly owed for 7,168 hours of overtime during the 13 months of her employment.

However, a spokesperson for Gaga has dismissed the allegations, telling the New York Post the lawsuit is "completely without merit."

Vin Diesel Confirms Seventh Fast And Furious Film

It’s far from over for Dominic Toretto and his racing gang. Vin Diesel has confirmed a seventh installment of the Fast and Furious series is in the works because their storyline for the upcoming sixth installment was too broad. Scripts for the sixth and seventh installments are being written simultaneously.

"With the success of this last one, and the inclusion of so many characters, and the broadening of scope, when we were sitting down to figure out what would fit into the real estate of number six, we didn't have enough space. We have to pay off this story, we have to service all of these character relationships, and when we started mapping all that out it just went beyond 110 pages,” Diesel told the Hollywood Reporter.

Diesel, 44, will return as Toretto along with other original cast members like Paul Walker, Michelle Rodriguez and Eva Mendes. Dwayne Johnson, who played Luke Hobbs in Fast Five, is also expected to return.

The Fast and Furious franchise has raked in $1.6 billion dollars worldwide since its debut in 2001.

Divorce Battle Between J Lo and Marc Anthony Turns Nasty

This has been a year of high-profile celebrity divorces;
there was Ashton and Demi, Arnold and Maria and now Jennifer Lopez and Marc
Anthony.

When J Lo and Marc Anthony announced their divorce in July, after
seven years of marriage, they asserted that it was an amicable split, but now
it seems as things are turning a bit nasty. Sources close to the couple told US
Weekly that now Anthony wants joint custody of their children.

After the couple initially sought out a divorce attorney to file for dissolution, they agreed that Lopez
would have primary custody of their children and Anthony would have visitation.
But sources say Anthony is angry about Lopez’s relationship with backup dancer
Casper Smart, who is almost 20 years her junior.

Anthony became furious when he saw pictures of his twin
daughters and Smart playing on the beach over Thanksgiving. The source says he
“hit the roof.” The source added that Anthony is now using the children as a
way to retaliate against Lopez for moving on so quickly.

Another source says Lopez is ready to fight and things may
get “vicious.”

Exclusive! Dolly Parton's Back On Screen After Almost 20 Years!

By Anne M. Raso

We recently caught up with Dolly Parton who portrays "gorgeous grandma" G.G. Sparrow in the feel good family flick Joyful Noise being released by Warner Brothers on January 13th. G.G. loses her choir conductor husband Bernard (portrayed by Kris Kristofferson) at the beginning of the film and the dynamic duo does a romantic duet in a dream-like sequence in the film when G.G. is missing her late husband--rumors abound that the song will be released as a single from the movie soundtrack.

About the casting of Kristofferson, Dolly confesses to us that Kenny Rogers was actually director Todd Graff's first choice: "It would have taken the movie in a whole different direction if Kenny played my husband. It would have too Dolly Partonish. (Laughs.) That would have taken the movie in a whole 'nother place. Kris and I have known each other since when we were both songwriters for Combine Music around 1964 or 1965 in Nashville and my husband and I have socialized with Kris and his wife over the years. We have recorded together in the past with Willie Nelson. I love him dearly and thought it was perfect casting to put us together."
Why did Dolly wait so long to take another movie role? "There were just no good scripts in all this time. It has been all junk coming my way in the past 18 or 19  years since I did Straight Talk. They could not really put me in the 'older woman' roles in that time I was too old to play the younger parts. (In Joyful Noise), I play a grandma who is young at heart and young in spirit. I thought this character was all the things I am--I have a big heart, big hope and big hair. I read the script. I said that I can't let someone play a character so much like me--it would be like letting someone rip me off! (Laughs.)" She adds, "I have been a lot in the past 20 years. I have been doing Dollywood and touring. People think you haven't done anything since you were not on the big screen in such a long period of time."

She is thrilled about the release of Joyful Noise--the only thing is she was panicked about during the film was the dancing sequences: "I was like, 'Lord, let my feet go where they are supposed to go.' I dance like a real hillbilly and I clap on the off beat!" The buxom legend continues with a tap of her long red nails on a conference table during the movie's press day at the Regency Hotel, "I think this movie will appeal to all kinds of people. It has the perfect name. We did make a joyful noise and have a joyful time! And Dana (co-star Queen Latifah) and I have have grown close and find things we admire in each other everyday. We also  gave each other the space we needed on the set. We enjoy doing the interviews for the film together."

As for looking so great at her age, she says with a laugh, "I see to it that I don't age--and I know all the tricks!"

Exclusive! Joyful Noise Press Day With Keke Palmer And Jeremy Jordan

By Anne M. Raso

We were lucky enough to catch up with Keke Palmer and Jeremy Jordan who play love interests in the feel good movie of early 2012, Joyful Noise (due out from Warner Bros. on 1-13). We were lucky enough to get to attend the press roundtables at New York's Regency Hotel yesterday and after getting to speak to Keke and Jeremy, we had our chance to chat with director Todd Graff (of Camp and Bandslam fame) and the superstars of the film, Queen Latifah and Dolly Parton. All the other stars of the film seemed in awe of Dolly, but that goes without surprise--and director Graff told us that Dolly would bake him fresh fudge in the middle of the night for the next day's filming because he ate Hershey bars all the time and he explains it, "She wanted me to stop eating things with preservatives!"

In a nutshell, the film is a musical comedy about a null Southern choir trying to work themselves up to the finals of a national competition, and they do indeed make it to the finals in LA--but along the way, there's the off-again, on-again romance between Keke and Jeremy's characters, and a whole lot of fighting going on between the Queen character Vi Rose Hill's rough-and-tumble "survivor" character and Dolly's rich-lady-about-town character which includes a biscuit fight at a Southern diner! We can't give anything else away except to say that the great Kris Kristofferson plays Dolly's character GG Sparrow's husband Bernard who passes away early in the film--and that the meaning of the name GG is not revealed til about three-quarters into Joyful Noise! Not surprisingly, it means "Gorgeous Grandma"! (Dolly's not a grandma in real life, as you might know, though)!

Anyway, Keke's mom is played by The Queen and in real life, Keke and The Queen have known each other about ten years! Keke's character Olivia Hill seems to not like Jeremy Jordan's character Randy Garrity at first, but he seems more lovable to hear once he shows off his talents by joining the choir that all the characters belong to and are working so hard to get to the finals. He wears his heart on his sleeve and wears down Olivia in record time. The movie is clean, though, so parents do not have to worry about their kids seeing anything but a six-second smooch.

We spoke to Keke and Jeremy about their chemistry and they admit that when they met they hit it off immediately. But it comes as no surprise that Keke--whose mom was a real-life choir director, just like her onscreen mom Queen Laitifah--was terrified of doing her first big on-screen kiss. "My big make out scene might have only been about six seconds but I consider this my big coming-of-age movie," Keke confided to us. To which Jeremy adds, "It was animalistic and raw--but I am used to doing this kind of thing sometimes nine times a week on Broadway! (Laughs.) I was the understudy for the lead in Rock Of Ages, and I got this part through a twist of fate. (Director) Todd Graff was in the audience the first night I actually got to go on (in the play)!"

Keke and Jeremy both loved working with the affable Graff and are quick to point out his best attributes: "He knows how to work with larger than life characters and he is also great with nuances! He is very professional and always kind. He was a lot of fun to work with!" Keke went on to add that she was thrilled to work with Dolly Parton because "She always herself--and as funny and kind as you'd expect her to be!"

Keke tells us that she would like to do a "heavy love story" as her next film project while Jeremy tells us, "I would like to do a badass action film!"

We know that big things are ahead for both these rising stars. Be sure to check out Joyful Noise--it can pick you up out of the most blue of moods and it's a film you can go to with your mom and pop (or even your Sunday school class) and you'll enjoy the wacky and diverse cast of characters. And let's us add that's it great to see Dolly Parton back on the big screen after nearly 20 years (her last film was Straight Talk, believe it or not)!

Katy Perry Is MTV's Artist Of The Year!

In 2011, no one shined as brightly as Katy Perry. It's hard to think back on the past 12 months without getting one of her songs stuck in your head.

As MTV's Artist of the Year, Katy found success by unapologetically being herself. She sang about aliens, her foggy memories of house parties, lost love, true love, being yourself and everything in between. It's easy for fans to connect to Perry and her music: She's an open book. And in 2011, she turned a few more pages.

Riding high off the success of 2010's Teenage Dream, Perry didn't rest on her laurels. Instead, she set the bar even higher by hitting the road on the California Dreams Tour, where night after night, decked out in candy-colored clothes, she belted out her greatest hits and empowered her fans with tracks like "Firework." That anthem, originally released late last year, became so ubiquitous this year that it finds itself at #10 on MTV's Best Songs of 2011 list.

Kid Rock To Donate 1,200 Meals To Detroit Charities and Families in Need For The Holidays

Kid Rock announced today that he has purchased 1,200 $25 Meijer gift cards that he plans to distribute throughout the city of Detroit as a Christmas present to people in need in his hometown. The gift cards, which will be distributed through local radio stations in the area, will be good for redemption at any local Meijer store. The gift cards will become available starting today, Dec. 14th. This is becoming an annual tradition for Kid Rock. Last year around Thanksgiving, Kid Rock donated 1,000 meals in the same way, and since the reaction was so great he has upped the amount to 1,200 this year.

Kid Rock recently completed a high profile underplay tour of the U.S. where, in association with a powerhouse group of local Detroit business people, more than $375,000 was donated to local charities via his Kid Rock Foundation. Sunday night, Kid Rock performed a special rendition of his current single "Care" at CNN's Heroes: An All-Star Tribute before heading up the road to Malibu, where he and his Twisted Brown Trucker Band performed for an intimate mix of fans and friends. This is not the last charitable act Kid Rock has up his sleeve; a major announcement is being planned for early next year which will once again focus on Detroit.

Lindsay Lohan Receives Praise in Court

It’s a Christmas Miracle!

Lindsay Lohan just received praise at her court hearing from judge Stephanie Sautner for regularly attending her probation work at the morgue as well as her court-ordered counseling sessions.

The judge was in such a good mood from Lindsay’s progress, she was even cracking jokes and told Lindsay quote, “you’re doing well.”
If Lindsay gets ahead on her work at the Morgue, she may even clear up all her legal woes by February – a month ahead of schedule!
The star certainly looked refreshed from her Hawaiian getaway earlier in the week, despite having lost $10,000 that was stolen from her purse AND missing her flight back to LA in time to appear on the talk show Ellen. She looked conservative in gray slacks and an off-white sweater with her hair pulled back.

Travel issues aside, Lindsay seems to be right on track.

This could be Lindsay’s happiest holiday yet!

The Beach Boys To Reunite At Grammy Awards

Former The Beach Boys star Al Jardine has revealed his band was supposed to be the subject of the Grammy Awards' big reunion announcement last month (Nov11) and he has no idea why the major news wasn't part of the nominations party.

Grammy bosses hinted they'd be breaking a big scoop during the Grammy Nominations Concert Live event in Los Angeles and many experts predicted the announcement would revolve around aVan Halen performance at the awards show in February (12) - but there was no bombshell.

Even bosses apologised, stating, "In the world of creativity, everything is fluid. In the process of discussions that we had been having with an expectation that perhaps we would be at a point tonight where the artist involved and we, moving forward, would be ready to announce (a reunion), they weren't quite at that point."

And now Jardine was revealed the big announcement was supposed to revolve around a full Beach Boys reunion at the Grammy Awards.

He tells Rolling Stone, "I thought the Grammys might make the announcement. I don't know what happened... There will be a surprise at the Grammys. We'll do something really exciting... It's going to be a very big operation."

Jardine tells the publication the original Beach Boys have booked recording studio time this month (Dec11) and he and his old bandmates appear to have put their past differences behind them.

He explains, "That stuff doesn't permeate the atmosphere. When you're in the presence of greatness, you don't wallow in that c**p."

Metallica Celebrate 30-Year Anniversary At The Fillmore In San Francisco With Special Guests

Metallica celebrated its 30th anniversary as a band last week, performing four shows at the Fillmore Theatre in San Francisco, CA, exclusively for members of their fan club, the Metallica Club.

In August, Metallica Club members around the world were able to enter a lottery for a chance to purchase tickets to all the Fillmore shows at a cost of $19.81 for a four-pack of tickets to all of the shows. Single show tickets were $6. All four of the shows immediately sold out.

Last week, Metallica welcomed these fans from around the globe to join them in the celebration where there were no repeats in the set lists for the four night stand, aside from the established show closer of "Seek & Destroy," playing close to 80 different songs. Each night at the Fillmore was hosted by comedian Jim Breuer and opened by the Rebel Souls Brass Band performing Metallica songs. This was followed by fan club winners invited on stage to play "Crash Course Trivia" and "Name That Riff" games where they were able to win exclusive 30th anniversary prizes and memorabilia.

Metallica also invited many special guests relevant to their 30 years to the stage to perform with them. The list of guests included Apocalyptica, Armored Saint, Geezer Butler, John Bush, Bif Byford, Jerry Cantrell, Nick "Animal" Culmer, Glenn Danzig, Death Angel, King Diamond, Diamond Head, Marianne Faithfull, Lloyd Grant, Rob Halford, Ray Haller, Pepper Keenan, Kid Rock, Laaz Rockit, John Marshall, Jim Martin, Mercyful Fate, Ron McGovney, Dave Mustaine, Jason Newsted, Ozzy Osbourne, Rebel Souls Brass Band, Lou Reed, Bob Rock, Gary Rossington, and Hugh Tanner. Each night the finale featured all the evening's guests joining the band on stage to perform "Seek and Destroy."

This week, Metallica will release the Beyond Magnetic EP featuring four previously unreleased songs, which will be available exclusively on iTunes in North America for one week. After that week, the songs will be available from digital retailers. Around the world, it will be available on iTunes and other digital retailers. These four songs were originally released as a gift to Metallica's Metallica Club members to enjoy immediately after the band played them.

"During the Death Magnetic album sessions in 2007 and 2008, we originally recorded 14 songs. When it came time to pick the songs for the final album, we decided on 10 songs that you've all come to know over the last three years," said the members of Metallica. "Some of you may have heard bits and pieces of those other songs on 'Mission Metallica' (remember 'Mission Metallica'?!) or heard rumors about them during the recording process, and wondered, 'What ever happened to those other four songs???.' We kept them in the vault and decided to pull them just for this special celebration, so here are the four leftover tracks from the Death Magnetic sessions. They are ROUGH mixes, unfinished to their original degree of mixing from March '08. These four songs were released as gift to our closest fans, the members of our Fan Club, to enjoy. Now they're being made available to you."

Meryl Streep Feared End Of Career After 40Th Birthday

Actress Meryl Streep feared her career was over when she turned 40 because she was convinced directors had no use for women past "childbearing age".

The icon won critical acclaim early in her career with starring roles in Out of Africa, Sophie's Choice, and A Cry in the Dark but Streep confesses she entered the 1990s concerned that film projects would be few and far between.

She tells the new issue of Vogue magazine, "I remember turning to my husband and saying, 'Well, what should we do? Because it’s over.'"

Streep's fears were momentarily realised when she received three consecutive scripts to play a witch - forcing Streep to come to terms with the pitfalls of ageing: "Once women passed childbearing age they could only be seen as grotesque on some level."

Ironically, the actress is still one of the most sought-after stars in Hollywood but she admits it's no coincidence most of her roles - like those in The Devil Wears Prada, Mamma Mia!, Julie & Julia and It’s Complicated - involve Streep playing "women whose usefulness had passed."

Glee Stars Donating Special Christmas Song to Charity

The stars of hit TV show Glee have shown off their generous side by recording a special version of "Do They Know Its Christmas"  in aid of charity.

Actors including Lea Michele and Cory Monteith have recorded their own version of Band Aid's 1984 hit single and will be donating all the the money raised to The Band Aid Trust.

The charity was set up in 1985 and helps support projects in third world countries, and Bob Geldof, who co-wrote the track and co-founded Band Aid, is ecstatic about the new version.

He says, "The reverberations of this little song continue down the long 26 years since Midge Ure and I wrote it. It could not be more timely now that Glee with its vast global audience of young people re-introduce it to a whole new constituency who are probably unaware of the great tragedy unfolding amongst the hungry, poor and dying of Somalia as a result of drought and a bitter and pointless civil war. This song was made specifically with that intent.

"Band Aid would like to thank from the bottom of its heart all the producers and actors of Glee who have gone beyond their normal brief of entertainment and entered into the spirit and understanding of that recording and its artists 26 years ago and its many subsequent iterations, by opening their website to the topic of poverty and the poor and linking it through to the Band Aid and the ONE Campaign sites.

"This is entertainment with purpose."
