Adele Stays on Top


The soul superstar is once again topping the U.K. albums chart after scoring her 23rd non-consecutive week at number one with 21.

The singer's impressive feat means she's now notched up a total of 24 weeks in pole position throughout her career. One week with her debut album 19 and 23 with her sophomore disc, overtaking Eminem's career best of 23 weeks.

Justin Mraz's Love Is A Four Letter Word, which led a promising charge for first place earlier in the week, entered at two, while rapper Nicki Minaj's Pink Friday: Roman Reloadedfell to three and Lana Del Rey climbed two spots to fourth position with Born To Die.

Jessie J rounded out the top five with Who You Are.

Meanwhile, Justin Bieber's protégé Carly Rae Jepsen remains at number one on the U.K. singles chart with Call Me Maybefor a third week in a row, with Can't Say No by Conor Maynard debuting at two.
