Simon Cowell Wants A Pet Pig!

Media mogul Simon Cowell wants a pet penguin after falling in love with the flightless birds from watching Jim Carrey children's film 'Mr Popper's Penguins'.

Cowell, 52, has decided that he wants one of the birds for his own after becoming a fan of them in the film, which sees Carrey's character's home get invaded by Gentoo penguins, reported Showbiz spy.

"Watching 'Mr Poppers Penguins' again. I love this film. I really do want a pet penguin (sic)," he tweeted.

Cowell has often spoken about his love for animals and was thrilled earlier this year when 17-year-old Ashleigh Butler and her performing dog Pudsey won 'Britain's Got Talent' as he believed they deserved it the most.

Kate Middleton And Prince William Preparing Home For First Child

Kate Middleton is reportedly preparing for her first royal baby. Insiders say the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge hope to welcome their first child next year, so they plan to make an apartment in Kensington Palace family friendly. The $1.5 million renovation will be finished by next summer.

"Kate is keen to put her stamp on the place with things she's bought on her travels. She felt certain pieces would be nice 'when we have a bigger home,’” a source tells Us Weekly magazine.

With four floors and 20 rooms, the apartment will be big enough for a growing family. "A baby is the main reason for the move,” an insider claims.

"It's time for the next step -- Kate is hoping she and William can become parents in 2013,” another source says.

Middleton and Prince William have been at the center of constant pregnant rumors since tying the knot in April 29, 2011. Both have expressed their desire to start a family in the future.

Lindsay Lohan Charged With Lying To Police

Legal issues just keep piling up for Lindsay Lohan. Hours after the actress was arrested for assault in New York City, California prosecutors charged her with three misdemeanors in a June 8th car accident. Lohan is accused of lying to police about who was behind the wheel of her Porsche when it collided with a dump truck on Pacific Coast Highway. Lohan told officers her assistant was driving at the time of the crash, but an investigation determined that it was actually Lohan who was in the driver’s seat.

The Liz and Dick star has been charged with reckless driving, providing false information and obstructing or resisting a police officer. The charges could result in a judge finding Lohan in violation of the terms of her probation in a 2011 jewelry theft case. Lohan could receive up to 245 days in jail for probation violation.

Lohan is also facing an assault charge in New York. She was arrested early this morning after allegedly punching 28-year-old Tiffany Eve Mitchell at Manhattan’s Avenue nightclub. According to reports, the incident happened after Lohan and Mitchell exchanged words. Lohan is said to have asked Mitchell for space. An insider said Lohan then sat down briefly, but got back up and punched Mitchell. Mitchell called police.

As Lohan was being handcuffed she reportedly said, "Oh my God! I didn't touch anyone!"

Beth Hart Returns with Bang Bang Boom Boom

Beth Hart, armed with one of the most unique and heart-wrenching voices of the 21st century, and a backstory packed with incredible opportunities and lamentable loss, will return with a new album, Bang Bang Boom Boom, on April 9, 2013 (Provogue Records/Mascot Label Group).

Produced by Kevin Shirley (Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin, Joe Bonamassa, Jimmy Page/The Black Crowes, Dream Theater), Bang Bang Boom Boom features eleven stunning blues, cabaret, rock, jazz and soul-influenced tracks, all written by Hart and recorded live at Shirley's Malibu, CA studio in early 2012. Bang Bang Boom Boom is a life-changing endeavor for the Los Angeles-born singer, songwriter and musician, who brought her life experiences, both positive and negative, together for what one European outlet called "a career-defining album."

"We've covered a gamut of styles on this record," said Shirley, "and it explores what Beth loves to sing. There are some jazzy influences and some hard rock influences, even some vaudeville in there. We've got a little bit of reggae, and some songs that are reminiscent of that West Coast sound of Tom Petty or the Eagles. I think she's made a classic album, it's really amazing."

For the Bang Bang Boom Boom recording sessions, Shirley assembled a extraordinary group of musicians: long-time "Late Show with David Letterman" drummer Anton Fig (Bob Dylan, Mick Jagger, Bruce Springsteen), bassist Michael Rhodes (the Dixie Chicks, Reba McEntire, Faith Hill), keyboardist Arlan Schierbaum (Joe Bonamassa, John Hiatt), guitarist Randy Flowers (Meat Loaf, Wynonna Judd), and drummers Curt Bisquera (Josh Groban, Mick Jagger, Elton John) and Herman Mathews (Stevie Wonder, Sheryl Crow, Celine Dion).

Bang Bang Boom Boom gives Hart's eclectic influences free rein, spinning from the brassy gospel of "Spirit Of God" to the sparse "Thru The Window Of My Mind," with her first-ever piano solo on "Swing My Thing Back Around," and an impossibly tender vocal on the Billie-Holiday-flavored "Baddest Blues."

Beth Hart's story is one of intense highs and extreme lows. In the late 90s, she was on the cusp of a promising music career, signed to a major label, with national television bookings, hit singles, and great press, but her career careened out of control due to her substance abuse. Healthy, happy and substance-free now for nearly a decade, Hart has rebuilt her career one brick at a time, touring extensively in the UK and Europe, playing bigger and bigger venues each time, scoring hit singles and critically-acclaimed albums, while watching the buzz grow. Recent musical alliances with artists from Jeff Beck to Slash to Joe Bonamassa have helped cement her ongoing comeback, and the North American release of Bang Bang Boom Boom is the next step on her road to redemption.

"I was so nervous before we began recording," admitted Beth. "But once I came in and met everyone the night before, it was just so great. I thought, 'OK, this is going to be one of those life experiences where you are in the moment and aware of how lucky you are.' It's like starting over, it's like the beginning of music again for me. "

Lohan Bar Fight Reportedly Over Max from The Wanted

According to a TMZ.COM EXCLUSIVE, "Lindsay Lohan punched another woman in the face over Max from the boy band "The Wanted" last night ... and we've learned Max was turned off by the fact LiLo was sloppy drunk inside the club ... this according to sources at the club. We're told ... Lindsay went to the Justin Bieber concert -- but not to see the Biebs -- "The Wanted" was the opening act ... and Lindsay has been scoping Max out for the last few days. Sources say Lindsay tried to get backstage after the concert to see him -- but she was blocked. Fast forward to later that evening when Lindsay met up with Max, Jay and Tom at a hotel bar. The four of them -- along with one of LiLo's friends -- then went to Club Avenue together. As the evening wore on, we're told Lindsay got drunker and drunker ... and it turned Max off. he then set his sights on another woman, which enraged Lindsay. That woman is the one Lindsay is accused of battering. Ironically, Max washed his hands of both of them -- found another girl in the club -- and went home with her instead ... while Lindsay ended up in jail."

Lindsay Lohan Charged With Assault In Club Fight

Lindsay Lohan is at it again - the troubled actress had another run-in with the law after allegedly punching a woman in the face early this morning. Lohan, 26, was arrested while trying to leave Manhattan’s Avenue nightclub around 4 a.m. Det. Mark Nell of the New York Police Department told People magazine Lohan has been charged with assault. Her accuser, 28-year-old Tiffany Eve Mitchell, was interviewed at a nearby police station and released without charge.

"This morning at 4 a dispute broke out at Avenue located at 116 10th Avenue. A female 26-year-old assaulted a female 28-year old. Lindsay Lohan was arrested and charged with assault,” Det. Nell told People.

Lohan was released around 8 o’clock. She will appear in court on January 11. A rep for the Liz and Dick star has not commented.

According to reports, the incident happened inside the club when Lohan and Mitchell exchanged words. Lohan is said to have asked Mitchell for space. An insider said Lohan then sat down briefly, but got back up and punched Mitchell. Mitchell called police.

As Lohan was being handcuffed she reportedly said, "Oh my God! I didn't touch anyone!"

The incident comes just 7 months after a judge took Lohan off probation in her 2007 DUI arrests. The judge kept Lohan on informal probation in her 2011 necklace theft case until May 24, 2014. If Lohan violates her probation by breaking any laws, she could face up to 245 days in jail.

In addition to multiple arrests and jail sentences, Lohan’s troubled past includes 5 stints in rehab for drug and alcohol addiction.

Weekend Concert Pick: "An Evening With The Monkees" At The Beacon Theater, Sunday, 12-2, 8PM

By Anne M. Raso

Monkees fans around the world are still in shock over the untimely death of Davy Jones earlier this year and most think the group is simply not the real deal without the sunny song and dance man who had been doing the large club and small theater circuit on a regular basis before his untimely passing. But out of all bad comes some good (as the old saying goes), and Michael Nesmith--who had only played with the band twice (in Tokyo and London) since their breakup 40-plus years ago made the announcement he would be joining up with the current Monkees tour shortly after a memorial in LA at Micky's ex-wife Samantha Juste's house. It surprised everyone more than a...well, out of control barrel of monkeys!

There are many rumors about Nesmith rejoined with his old goofy band mates--from big money to being unable to tour in the past due to hearing problems that have since been corrected through surgery. But the reunion with Nesmith happened "organically" after Jones passed away according to Micky Dolenz. Nesmith himself said to "This seems like a good time to do this – the right time. Who knows when we will get another chance?”

Davy's death was of particular grief to us here at The Mac Wire since we had interviewed him many times over the years and were about to reschedule an interview that couldn't happen due to time constraints at BB King's in Times Square only a few days before his death in the West Palm Beach area! This writer was lucky in that at the BB King's show earlier this year, Davy cajoled me from the stage after I was bold enough to run up and take flash photos. He made believed he was annoyed at me, said he was calling the cops--and then told me to have a drink on the keyboard player. I gave thumbs up as the drummer did a rim shot!

The current Monkees tour has been getting many great reviews, and has sold out. The show at the Beacon promises to be one of the highlights of the fans have never gotten to hear Nesmith do the songs he made popular as part of America's answer to The Beatles! We will be there with bells on.... or rather, with tambourines glued to our hips, in honor of Jones (who was introduced at his shows in later years as "the world's greatest tambourine player").

There are no tickets left for the show, which starts at 8:00 at the Beacon Theater on Sunday, but it is legal to buy them from people selling them at face value on the street. (Just for the record, all The Monkees’ East Coast dates sold out in ONE DAY!) So we suggest you try to buy up one of those tickets in front of the show--be sure to get there about an hour before show time for that opportunity. And just for the record, the Last Train To Clarksville DOES NOT STOP at 74th and Broadway where the theater is located, LOL!

"With the GRAMMY Hall Of Fame celebrating 40 years, it's especially important to note that these entries continue the tradition of inducting a wide variety of recordings that have inspired and influenced both fans and music makers for generations," said Neil Portnow, President/CEO of The Recording Academy. "Memorable for being both culturally and historically significant, we are proud to add them to our growing catalog of outstanding recordings that have become part of our musical, social, and cultural history."

Yoko Ono Designs Clothing Line

Yoko Ono has designed a clothing line inspired by her late husband John Lennon.

The singer/artist based the menswear collection on Fashions For Men, a set of sketches she drew as a gift for the Beatle before their 1969 wedding.

Highlights from the 18-piece range include a pair of trousers with a hand silhouette stitched over the crotch and a sweater with eyelet cut-outs around the nipples.

She tells Women's Wear Daily, "I was inspired to create Fashions for Men amazed at how my man was looking so great. I felt it was a pity if we could not make clothes emphasizing his very sexy bod (sic).

"So, I made this whole series with love for his hot bod and gave it to him as a wedding present. You can imagine how he went wild and fell in love with me even more."

Ono's collection, which also features hooded sweatshirts and boots, will be stocked at Opening Ceremony stores.

Anna Nicole Smith’s Daughter Models For GUESS Kids

Dannielynn Birkhead may only be 6-years-old, but she is already following in the footsteps of her mom, the late Anna Nicole Smith. Like Smith, Dannielynn is modeling for GUESS clothing.

“Dannielynn has the same playful spirit that her mother had on set,” says GUESS creative director Paul Marciano. “She is a second-generation GUESS girl.”

Dannielynn appears in the Spring 2013 GUESS Kids ad campaign. Her father Larry Birkhead says he saw the campaign as an opportunity for Dannielynn to connect with Smith, who was the face of GUESS in 1992.

“I think that this is kind of Dannielynn’s way of paying tribute to her mom in her own special way,” the photographer explained on Tuesday’s Good Morning America. “To see her mom’s picture next to hers as a GUESS girl and say, ‘Hey, I was a GUESS Kids girl and my mommy was a Guess girl,’ that might be her only connection with her mom.”

Dannielynn was just 5-months-old when Anna Nicole died of a drug overdose in a Florida hotel room on February 8, 2007. Anna Nicole, a Playboy model and reality star, was 39.

The man Billboard Magazine named “World’s Top Promotion Man,” Pete Bennett, 77, died suddenly of a heart attack Thanksgiving day in Connecticut.

Bennett, born in the Bronx, NY is credited for propelling the careers of the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Michael Jackson, The Who, Simon and Garfunkel, James Taylor and many others.

Described by Paul McCartney as “the promotion man responsible for getting the Beatles on the radio,” Bennett was named Director of Promotion for the Beatles’ Apple Records label in 1968. After the break-up of the group, Bennett guided the promotional efforts to radio for the solo releases by John Lennon, Ringo Starr, George Harrison and McCartney.

Over the years in interviews when Bennett was asked why his services were in such demand, he would say “I make unknowns into stars and stars into superstars.”

Among his many legendary achievements, Bennett, working side-by-side with Harrison, produced the world’s first global charity event, “The Concert for Bangladesh,” at Madison Square Garden in 1971. The former Beatle requested Bennett to use his clout and relationships to secure some of the biggest rock stars of the time, including Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, Ringo Starr, Leon Russell and Billy Preston.

In 1975 when Michael Jackson and his brothers were looking to leave Motown Records, Bennett orchestrated a deal to bring the Jacksons to Epic Records

Well known for his eye for talent, Bennett is recognized as the first music executive to discover Aerosmith front man Steven Tyler, when he was in a Yonkers, NY band called Chain Reaction.

As impactful as Bennett’s accomplishments were in the music industry, his long list of relationships spanned a who’s who of politics, sports, television and movies, including Bob Hope, Muhammad Ali, Richard Nixon, Elvis Presley, Dick Clark, Nat King Cole, John Wayne and Bobby Vinton.

Bennett is survived by his wife of 47 years, Annette, and his two sons, Peter and Joseph, all of Connecticut. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Heart Association.

Lindsay Lohan Looking For Sitcom Role

Despite the scathing reviews of her performance in the Lifetime movie Liz & Dick, Lindsay Lohan is reportedly convinced that TV is the key to reviving her flagging acting career. reports Lohan is pushing her team to land her a starring role on a sitcom.

"Lindsay has asked her manager and agent to look into getting her her own television sitcom. Lindsay feels that the small screen would be a great way for her to revitalize her acting career and that a comedy would be the best bet,” an insider tells Radar.

Apparently, the sitcom idea came from former Two and a Half Men star Charlie Sheen. “Lindsay feels most comfortable doing comedy and it was Charlie Sheen that told her she should do it. Charlie told Lindsay that it was an easy way to make very good money and help her to get her movie career back on track,” the source adds. “Lindsay is loving the idea of having her own sitcom and would love to play someone in a story based on her crazy life."

Lohan “isn’t fazed” by the criticism heaped on Liz & Dick last night. She allegedly believes jealously is the driving force behind the critics who slammed her. “She thinks everyone is insanely jealous of her, and like it or not, she was trending on Twitter last night,” adds the insider.

A Liz & Dick review on complained that Lohan was “completely miscast” as the legendary Elizabeth Taylor, while Entertainment Weekly slammed Lohan’s “frozen face.” The 26-year-old actress has not commented.

December 8 will see the official release of the full-color magazine “50th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION / MY SUPREMES / MARY WILSON” (Event Bookazines / Hudson News). The 128-page publication, edited by best-selling author Mark Bego, is a lavish and exciting remembrance of the top-selling female singing group of all time: The Supremes. The magazine will be available at Barnes & Nobel, Target, Walmart, Hudson News shops and wherever magazines are sold.
The Supremes were an American female singing group and the premiere act of Berry Gordy’s Motown Records during the entire decade of the 1960s. Originally founded as The Primettes in Detroit, Michigan in 1959, The Supremes’ repertoire included pop, soul, rock & roll, Broadway show tunes, psychedelic soul, and disco. They were the most commercially successful of Motown’s acts and are, and to date they are America’s most successful vocal group with 12 Number One singles on the “Billboard” Hot 100. Most of these hits were written and produced by Motown’s main songwriting and production team, Holland–Dozier–Holland. At their peak in the mid-1960s, the Supremes rivaled The Beatles in worldwide popularity.
Mary Wilson’s career has continued to prosper with a series of well received solo albums, the most recent being “Life’s Been Good To Me” which is due to be released in early 2013. She also wrote the New York Times best-selling memoir: “Dreamgirl: My Life as a Supreme” in 1986.
Best-selling author Bego, who this month also releases his 60th book (his first novel called “Murder at Motor City Records”) first came aboard this project due to his 35 year friendship with Wilson; the two have been friends for years and Bego helped her write her two memoirs. Adds Bego, “Mary and I had been talking about doing some sort of retrospective to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the release of the album ‘Meet The Supremes.’ When we received the offer to do this magazine, it seemed like the perfect way for us to celebrate everything Supreme!”
According to Mary Wilson, “Mark and I have worked on several projects together, and I am thrilled to celebrate the entire legacy of The Supremes in one publication. With this magazine we were able to salute every one of The Supremes, our entire history, every one of our albums, and all of the group’s incarnations from the 1960s to the 1970s—and beyond. We cover several decades of wonderful memories, and of course dozens of our sequined Supremes gowns in this magazine!”

Listen: Cher Debuts New Single "Women's World"

Proving a dance diva's work is never done, Cher debuted her new long awaited new single, the club-friendly single "Woman's World" early Thanksgiving morning on her official website. The Oscar, Grammy, Golden Globe and Emmy-Award winning icon hasn't had a top 10 single since 2002's "Song for the Lonely." In fact, her last notable release was a remix of the "Burlesque" soundtrack single "You Haven't Seen The Last of Me" which went to no. 1 on the Dance Club charts two years ago. Perhaps that's what spurned the 66-year-old diva to return to the dance floor.
What do you think of the new single?

Glee's Matthew Morrison Speaks About Being in Boy band

Glee star Matthew Morrison regrets his boy band past, calling his short stint in pop group LMNT "one of the biggest mistakes" he ever made.

The singer/actor, who plays high school teacher Will Schuester on Glee, was convinced he had landed his big break after joining the band in 2001.

However, Morrison admits he felt miserable singing cheesy tracks and he left the line-up before LMNT had even released their debut album.

He tells fashion website, "It's one of the biggest mistakes I've ever made in my life. It was at the height of 'NSYNC and the Backstreet Boys, so I really thought I was going to make a lot of money being in a boy band. Singing and dancing to stupid, ridiculous songs didn't feed my soul."

Taylor Swift Opens Up About Exes And Song Writing

Taylor Swift may use her breakups for song writing, but she will never reveal which guy is behind each song. In a new interview with the New York Times, Swift says she won’t name names because she doesn’t want to throw her exes completely under the bus.

“I don’t talk about who it is specifically because these are real people. You try to give insight as to where you were coming from as a writer without completely throwing somebody under the bus,” she explains.

One ex even asked her to not write about him, but she still did. “Of course I was like, “Oh, don’t worry, I won’t. And then I did. Look, it’s not like it was written somewhere in the fine print that I write songs about my life,” she says. “If we break up, I’m going to write about it. But I’m probably also going to write about when I fell in love with you. So there’s an upside.”

Swift admits that one particular relationship inspired the hit “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,” particularly the line in which she talks about the guy liking “some indie record that’s much cooler than mine.” Fans speculate the song is about Jake Gyllenhaal.

“That all came out of this one relationship I was in. This guy was just, so, so cool. It kind of gave me a bit of a complex for this album, because he was always going on and on about this new band that was so cool because they were so underground. I have so many indie bands on my iPod. What I don’t really understand is the attitude that if a band is unknown, they’re good, and if they get fans, then you move on to the next band,” says Swift.

As for the huge success of her new album Red, the 22-year-old says she sometimes feel insecure. “Some days I totally appreciate everything that’s happening to me, and some days I feel everyone’s waiting for me to mess up. I’ve always been really, really aware of my insecurities, really, really aware. I never developed that thick skin that keeps you from letting things get to you,” she adds.

Jon Bon Jovi Vows To “Get Through” Daughter’s Overdose Tragedy

Jon Bon Jovi spoke out about his teenage daughter’s shocking heroin overdose for the first time in an interview with Fox 11 this week. The rocker said his entire family is thankful for the outpouring of support for 19-year-old Stephanie, who was rushed to a New York hospital on November 14 after overdosing in her dorm room at Hamilton College in Kirkland.

"This tragedy was something that I had to face too, so we'll get through it," Bon Jovi told Fox 11. "And people's incredible warm wishes for my family and I have been really reassuring. So, we're good."

The incident resulted in Stephanie’s arrest for misdemeanor charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana. Ian Grant, the 21-year-old student who called 911, was also charges with drug possession. All of the charges against the pair were later dropped due to a 2011 penal code amendment that protects people from being charged with drug possession if they sought help from authorities for a "drug or alcohol overdose or other life-threatening medical emergency.”

"By law, they have immunity. I can’t prosecute them even if I wanted to,” Oneida County District Attorney Scott D. McNamara said last week. "To proceed would be highly inappropriate and highly unethical, and would jeopardize my opportunity to practice in the future."

Stephanie Rose Bongiovi is Bon Jovi’s first child with his wife of 23 years, Dorothy Hurley. The couple is also parents to sons Jesse, 17, Jacob, 10, and Romeo, 8.

Family insider say the Bongiovi family is still in shock about the overdose. "No one had any idea she did those kinds of drugs . . . Steph has a wild side, but she's not a crazy partier,” a source told Us Weekly.

Kristen Stewart Struggling With Guilt Over Cheating Scandal

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart’s romance seems to be back on solid ground following Stewart’s cheating scandal, but sources say the 22-year-old actress is still struggling with her mistake. The Twilight star sometimes has “bad days” when it comes to feeling guilty about her brief fling with married director Rupert Sanders last July.

Pattinson, 26, is ready to put the past behind them, an insider tells Us Weekly magazine. "He's never going to forget what she did, but he has forgiven her. Almost losing him was a wake-up call for Kristen. And Rob doesn't want to be angry anymore. They want to move forward,” the source says.

"They're comfortable, almost as if no scandal had occurred,” adds another source.

The couple briefly split after Stewart admitted to cheating on Pattinson with Sanders, her director for Snow White and the Huntsman. They reportedly reunited in October and have been together ever since.

Pattinson and Stewart are currently on a promotional tour for the fifth and final installment in the Twilight film series, Breaking Dawn Part 2.

Heroin charge dropped vs. Bon Jovi's daughter, district attorney says

CLINTON, N.Y. – Drug charges against Jon Bon Jovi's 19-year-old daughter have been dropped, a central New York prosecutor said Thursday.

Stephanie Bongiovi was found unresponsive by medics after she apparently overdosed on heroin in a Hamilton College dorm early Wednesday. Town of Kirkland police charged Bongiovi, of Red Bank, N.J., and fellow student Ian Grant, also of Red Bank, with possession of a small amount of heroin and marijuana.

Oneida County District Attorney Scott McNamara said he was dismissing the charges against both students. Under state law, someone having a drug overdose or seeking help for an overdose victim can't be prosecuted for having a small amount of heroin or any amount of marijuana.

The so-called Good Samaritan 911 law signed by Gov. Andrew Cuomo in July 2011 was designed to reduce overdose deaths by encouraging people to call 911 without fear of being arrested for drug possession. Similar laws have been passed in several other states.

Bon Jovi, 50, is scheduled to perform at a concert to benefit Hamilton's scholarships and arts programs in Times Square on Dec. 5. He has not commented on his daughter's overdose.

He has four children, Stephanie and three sons.

'Twilight Saga' Finale A Guaranteed Mega-Hit

As Summit launches the final piece of one of the most lucrative franchises in history, long lines around the country are a guarantee for "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2." As the latest "Twilight" puts up one of the biggest openings of the year this weekend, Steven Spielberg's acclaimed historical documentary "Lincoln" will also get its wide release after a promising start in select cities a week ago. Also hanging around the top of the box office this weekend will be "Skyfall," which continues to see enormous revenue totals both in the U.S. and around the globe, making it the most profitable James Bondrelease since the 1960s.

When "Twilight" first hit theaters in November of 2008, there was no way for distributor Summit to know how big of a hit it was truly going to be. Even with a slender budget of just $37 million and rough critical reviews, "Twilight" was a smashing commercial success, earning nearly $400 million worldwide and making Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson instant stars. Since the original entry, Summit has grown the franchise both domestically and abroad, with total box office revenue exceeding $700 million for last year's entry, "Breaking Dawn - Part 1."

Heading into its opening weekend, finale "Breaking Dawn - Part 2" already boasts very strong early ticket sales and midnight screenings are expected to be packed across the country, which should lead to a spectacular opening weekend thanks to its ravenous fan base. Considering that "Part 1" posted a phenomenal $138 million opening a year ago over the same weekend in November, expectations are understandably high for "Part 2." With "The Hunger Games," "The Dark Knight Rises" and "The Avengers" all breaking $150 million in opening weekend revenue, look for "Breaking Dawn - Part 2" to join the club with somewhere in the neighborhood of $155 to $160 million this weekend.

Swift’s recently released album Red has already sold nearly 1.6 million copies. She will kick off her next tour in Omaha, Nebraska on March 13. 2013.

Kristen Stewart Hints At Snow White Sequel

Remember rumors Kristen Stewart was dramatically unlinked from potential the SWATH franchise following the Rupert Sanders affair?

And rumors that Chris Hemsworth was gonna get a Hunstman spinoff?

And rumors that Rupert might direct a sequel on his wife’s strict orders that he never worked with Kristen again?

Ok well back up everyone, back up.

Because K-Stew has planted a seed that could grow a brand new tree of poisoned apples

Despite another rumour that her huge salary was the reason that she wasn’t asked back for round two, Hollywood reporter asked her if she’d heard anything about a sequel to which she hinted “maybe” followed by “No one’s positive or anything, but I think there’s a strong possibility,”

You’d need a magic mirror to see that one coming.

George Clooney Will Never Wed

George Clooney's sister is convinced her famous brother will never get married and have children because he is too dedicated to his career.

The Ocean's Eleven star, who is currently romancing former wrestler Stacy Keibler, has been a serial dater since 1993, when he split from his wife of four years, Talia Balsam.

Clooney's older sibling Adelia Zeidler is convinced the 51-year-old won't walk down the aisle again and start a family because he won't want to leave a wife and kids behind while he goes off to make movies.

She tells the New York Daily News, "I would say he probably will not get married... If he was going to get married he would want to be a husband and be somebody who would be there, who would have the time and the ability to focus on the family and the home and all of that. And in the business that he is in, he has to be able to get up and go.

"The majority of actors don't really make their marriages work... If he had children, when he was with them, he would be concerned about his career and if he was working he would be concerned about the children. And he doesn't think it would be fair to split his focus."

Kristen reportedly says she skimmed a few pages, and the content is so raunchy when she sees people reading it on planes she gets genuinely creeped out.
She says “You’re basically just reading porn right now! Get that blanket off your lap!”

Robert Pattinson Dodges Dating Question

Robert Pattinson turned the tables on a TV reporter Thursday morning when she quizzed him about his relationship with Kristen Stewart.

The couple's romance was thrown into jeopardy over the summer after Stewart confessed to an "indiscretion" with her married Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders.

And Today show anchor Savannah Guthrie asked Pattinson if he had indeed rekindled his romance with Stewart, he responded, "I want to ask, 'cause we get asked it all the time, everyone always asks, like for four years. Who is actually asking? Is it in your contract?"

Kirstie Alley Admits To Emotional Affair With Patrick Swayzee

In a new ET interview, Dancing with the Stars All Stars contestant Kirstie Alley made a shocking confession. The actress revealed she and Patrick Swayze instantly formed a strong emotional bond on the set of the 1985 Civil War mini-series North and South. Though they were both married at the time – Swayze to long-time love Lisa Niemi and Alley to her second husband Parker Stevenson – Alley said they fell in love, but did not have an affair. She does not know if Niemi was ever aware of what happened.

"Both of us were married. We did not have an affair. But again, I think what I did was worse. Because I think when you fall in love with someone when you're married, you jeopardize your own marriage and their marriage. It's doubly bad," Alley told ET’s Chris Jacobs.

Four years after falling for Swayze, Alley fell in love with John Travolta on the set of Look Who’s Talking. In a recent interview with Barbara Walters, the actress called Travolta “the greatest love of my life.” Alley divorced Stevenson in 1997.

Swayze was married to Niemi from 1975 until his death from pancreatic cancer in 2009. Alley spoke at Swazye’s funeral at Niemi’s request.

Alley opens up more about her past in her new book, The Art of Men.

Lady Gaga Gives $1 Million For Superstorm Sandy Relief

Lady Gaga is giving back to New York City in a big way – the superstar donated $1 million to the Superstorm Sandy Relief effort. Lady Gaga announced her pledge in a post on her official website.

“Today I pledge 1 million dollars to New York & The American Red Cross for Hurricane Sandy Relief. If it wasn't for NYC: the Lower Eastside, Harlem, the Bronx and Brooklyn, I would not be the woman or artist that I am today. New York is relentless ambition, a drive to succeed, a place where there is a natural pursuit of diversity through compassion. Please accept this gift on behalf of myself, my parents Joe and Cynthia, and my sister Natali; with our deepest gratitude New York for raising us. Thank you for helping me build my spirit. I will now help you rebuild yours. Sincerely, Lady Gaga and The Germanottas,” she wrote.

Superstorm Sandy devastated much of the northeast with major damage and massive flooding. At least 113 people were killed in the storm. "Hurricane Sandy's path of destruction stretched hundreds of miles and impacted millions of people and this will be one of the biggest Red Cross relief operations in the past five years," said Red Cross president and CEO Gail McGovern.

Celebrities have made a big push to raise money for the relief effort. Christina Aguilera, Steven Tyler, Matt Lauer, Tina Fey and numerous other celebrities participated in the Hurricane Sandy: Coming Together telethon last week. The telethon raised $23 million for the Red Cross.

"We are incredibly grateful and humbled by this outpouring of support for those who are suffering as a result of Superstorm Sandy. Our preliminary results of nearly $23 million raised are an extraordinary example of how the American people pull together in times of disaster. Their generous donations will go directly to those in need, and we urge the public to continue to give," said Red Cross Chief Marketing Officer Peggy Dyer.

Taylor Lautner Dodges Questions about Kristen Stewart

Twilight star Taylor Lautner has dodged questions about his co-star Kristen Stewart's summer cheating scandal in a new magazine interview.

The 20-year-old sat down with editors at Cosmopolitan for the publication's December issue and when quizzed about his reaction to Stewart's "indiscretion" with her Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders, which temporarily ended her relationship to boyfriend Robert Pattinson, Lautner opted to handle the situation with grace.

He said, "Kristen is fantastic at everything she does. I'm always proud of her."

The journalist continued to press the issue, wondering if Lautner would ever take a disloyal lover back, and he added, "To be honest, I've never been involved in any of those situations, so I don't know...

"It depends on how long you were with that person. If it was a long, serious relationship, I think it's quite easy to rekindle. I guess it depends on what damage has been done."

Lautner isn't the only celebrity to defend Stewart in the wake of the media firestorm - her The Runaways co-star DakotaFanning also recently added her support, saying, "Everyone thinks they have the right to, you know, publicize the struggles and sadness and heartbreak and all of that... It's like, 'Why do you think you are the authority to judge people's experiences?'"

The duo was performing at the Bemelmans Bar at the Carlyle Hotel in New York, when the Irish star joined them for a rendition of I've Got You Under My Skin - a track he once recorded with the late Frank Sinatra.

Singer Caruso tells the Huffington Post, "Bono walked in. It was impossible not to recognize the guy - the glasses alone gave him away!

"They were seated in the corner, where they rocked, bopped, swayed and snapped. He kept giving me the thumbs-up when he'd like a tune and (was) singing along quietly.

"The room was stopped cold (when Bono hit the stage). (It was) just another miraculous Bemelmans moment! After the last note was crooned, Bono flew out the door, waving to everyone."

Sharon Osbourne Reveals She Underwent A Double Mastectomy

Sharon Osbourne has revealed that she had both breasts removed after finding out that she was at risk for developing breast cancer. "The Talk" co-host, who has been afflicted by cancer before, said, in an interview with Hello! magazine, that it wasn't an experience she wished to repeat:

"As soon as I found out I had the breast cancer gene, I thought: 'The odds are not in my favor'."

"I've had cancer before and I didn't want to live under that cloud: I decided to just take everything off, and had a double mastectomy," she added.

Osbourne added that the choice—to live without fear of cancer—was a no-brainer:

"I didn't even think of my breasts in a nostalgic way, I just wanted to be able to live my life without that fear all the time."
