Kevin Jonas And Wife To Star On Reality Show

Kevin Jonas is set to add “reality star” to his impressive resume! The Jonas Brothers musician and his wife of 2 years, Danielle Deleasa, have landed an E! reality show that will document their married life and Jonas’ reunion with brothers Nick and Joe to record their next album.

"After two years of newlywed bliss, Kevin and Dani are finally ready to settle down in their New Jersey home and establish a happy suburban life," E! said Monday in a statement. "However, with the Jonas Brothers heading back to the studio to record new music, finding the right mix of 'normal' and superstardom isn't easy."

Married to Jonas will be produced by Ryan Seacrest. "I vividly recall believing from the very first time that I met them that the Jonas Brothers would, without a doubt, become a worldwide cultural sensation," Seacrest told EW.com. "When we learned that Dani married Kevin, our production team became curious about what life would be like for a young bride entering the excitement, and sometimes chaos, of a pop star's life. Looking through the lens of young love, the show will examine the ups and downs of Dani and Kevin's marriage, against the backdrop of their contrasting family cultures, traditions and individual careers."

The series is scheduled to premiere on August 19 at 10 p.m. (EST). Jonas, 24, and Deleasa, 23, tied the knot in December 2009 after two years of dating.

Ryan O'Neal: Farrah Died in My Arms

Actor Ryan O'Neal says he cradled Farrah Fawcett for hours on her deathbed before she died of cancer.
The Charlie's Angels star was struck down with anal cancer in 2006 and O'Neal was a constant presence at her side as her condition deteriorated.
The Love Story star, who is fighting stage two prostate cancer, detailed his heartbreak over Fawcett's failing health in his diaries, which have been made into a new book, Both Of Us: My Life With Farrah, and serialized in Britain's Mail on Sunday.
In the tome, O'Neal tells how he planned to marry Fawcett in St John's Hospital, but the priest who arrived to oversee the ceremony ended up administering the last rites instead.
He writes, "After the priest leaves, I lie down next to her, wrap my body around her to keep her warm, and then take her hand. I can feel a steady pulse... I caress her hand for hours. Her heart refuses to quit.
"I'm left alone with my love. I take her hand. I can still feel her pulse, but now it is fluttering. She's trying to let go. Her heartbeat slows, then disappears. On the morning of June 25th, Farrah slips into eternal sleep."
O'Neal also shares his shame over the physical altercations he and Fawcett endured during their tumultuous relationship: "Neither of us possessed the emotional discipline to say: 'Wait a minute, this isn't normal, we need help.'
"You have to remember that I'm a trained boxer... If someone is coming at me with fists flailing, my instinct is to block the blows, which is what I did with Farrah... I didn't see my behavior as aberrant. In reality, most of the time it wasn't her I was lashing out at, it was my kids, the world, Hollywood, my agent, you name it. I'm a moody guy."

Katy Perry Sells Apartment

Katy Perry has sold off the New York apartment she once shared with Russell Brand.

The British funnyman filed for divorce from the pop star in December 2011 and they are going through the legal process of making the split official.

Perry has now taken one step closer to putting married life behind her by selling the luxurious Manhattan penthouse which she bought just weeks before exchanging vows with Brand in India in October 2010.

The two-bedroom Tribeca duplex sold for close to its $2.75 million asking price, according to New York Post gossip column Page Six.

Weekend Movie Pick: Jack Black In BERNIE!

By Anne M. Raso

Jack Black is in his finest hour since Shallow Hal and School Of Rock in Bernie, a film we here at themacwire.com consider the very best of 2012 (well, so far). You can call it a "gigolo comedy" but it's really unclear if the lead character--real life convicted murderer Bernie Tiede who is played by Black--is a nice guy or gigolo. His whole hometown seemed to love him, even after he murdered gal-pal Marjorie Nugent and put her body in a freezer in his garage. The speculation over whether Bernie's a good or bad guy is really what the film is about but what really makes it special is the fact that director Richard Linklater decided to use real townspeople of Carthage, Texas--where the crime occurred--to tell a lot of the story onscreen. It's like a documentary within a big budget film and this "method" works wonders and gives the audience lots of laughs!

In the film, Shirley MacLaine plays Mrs. Nugent (Bernie's love interest whose deceased husband Bernie overseas as assistant funeral director and then lives with), and Matthew McConaughey plays the town’s blustery real-life District Attorney, Danny Buck Davidson, who was determined to get to the bottom of the crime.

We were lucky enough to catch up with the affable JB at the New York press day for Bernie and he clearly enjoyed playing the character. He met with Tiede in jail a couple of times to research the role and they have corresponded via phone calls a couple of times since then. Linklater tried to set up a Bernie screening in the Texas penitentiary Tiede is incarcerated in, but it got denied by the prison board. Too bad! It would have been a cool place for both a screening AND a premiere!

Black remarked to us about visiting Tiede in jail and that he turned out to be just as he imagined him to be: "I was thankful that it reinforced what we had thought--you know, that he was this sweet, soft-spoken guy who was the most popular guy in prison just as he was the most popular guy in the small town of Carthage. That’s just who he is. He has a thing, I think, that he likes to be liked, you know--and maybe too much. I have the same thing. I like to be liked. If I get the feeling that someone is mad at me or doesn’t like me for some reason, I’ll try to win them over."

Black told us he was an honor to work with co-star MacLaine: "She’s had an incredible career, so it was intimidating at first but then she was very complimentary to me and made me feel like I was worthy to be in her presence and relaxed me by laughing at my stupid jokes. And we had fun."

Check Bernie out ASAP--it will be one of the most memorable movies of your life. It hits home on a lot of different levels--including the fact that very good and caring people can be VERY bad sometimes!

Sir Elton John Responds To Nikita Lawsuit

Sir Elton John and his songwriting partner Bernie Taupin have been left "surprised" and "disappointed" by a "baseless" lawsuit accusing the pair of stealing the lyrics to their hit song Nikita.

Photojournalist/songwriter Guy Hobbs has filed a copyright infringement lawsuit in Illinois, claiming Sir Elton's 1985 chart hit, which features lyrics penned by longterm collaborator Taupin, bears striking similarities to his own track Natasha, which he wrote three years prior.

In his court papers, Hobbs claims he came up with the tune, about his love affair with a Russian cruise ship waitress, and had it copyrighted before sending it out to various publishing companies, including Big Pig - the firm which handles the Rocket Man star's songs.

But representatives for both Sir Elton and Taupin have denied the allegations, dismissing the suit as "completely meritless".

A statement issued to the New York Post's Page Six column reads: "Sir Elton John and Mr. Bernie Taupin were surprised and disappointed to learn of the lawsuit for copyright infringement brought against them by Guy Hobbs concerning the lyrics of their 80s hit Nikita.

"Sir Elton and Mr. Taupin do not know the plaintiff, nor did they make use of any song lyrics he claims to have written when they wrote Nikita. In short, the suit is completely meritless. The fact that Hobbs has chosen to wait more than 26 years after the release of Nikita to bring this lawsuit calls his motives into question. Sir Elton John and Mr. Taupin fully expect to prevail against this baseless claim."

Hobbs alleges it has taken him over two decades to take legal action because he moved to Africa in 1984.

Disney Confirms Sequel To 'Muppets'

Disney has confirmed that they are, in fact, at work on a follow up to 2011's "The Muppets." In a pressconference at this year's CinemaCon event in Las Vegas, the studio revealed that director James Bobin will return. They also confirmed rumors that Jason Segel will not.

Bobin is reportedly working on the screenplay for the sequel with James Stoller. Earlier this year Segel spoke with CraveOnline.com explaining his motivation to move away from the Oscar winning franchise:

"You know, my goal was to bring The Muppets back and I think I achieved that. It was half a decade of my life and I just want to take a minute to concentrate on more human related projects," he said.

Thus far there is no specific release information for the "Muppets 2," but Disney says it will likely be out in the summer of 2013.

Concert Pick Of The Weekend: The Left Banke At BB King's Times Square, Sunday 4-29, 8PM!

The Left Banke is a group that legends are made of and we strongly suggest catching them at BB Kings, Times Square, this Sunday at 8PM (doors open at 6:30 PM, so be sure to arrive early to get a seat)!

What is particularly special about this show is that it is a rare glimpse at a New York band formed in the 60s with mostly original members--who recorded one of the most famous songs of the 60s! "Just Walk Away Renee" was not only a Top 10 hit for The Left Banke, but then the Four Tops also had a Top 10 hit with it...and then numerous other pop and R&B acts covered it. The group also saw the top 40 with "Pretty Ballerina" considered to also be a classic in rock critics/classic rock afficionado circles!

If you need to know why else this show is special. Opening up is Alan Merrill, whose best-known for penning "I Love Rock And Roll"--his band The Arrows recorded it in 1975 and it was a hit overseas but not here. The Arrows were the first signing to Atlantic Records Japan and why did Merrill go to Japan in the first place? Get this! After several auditions, he was hired to be in The Left Banke in 1968 to replace a previous guitar player, but as the story goes, when he went to record with the band--THE PREVIOUS GUITAR PLAYER TURNED UP AND APPARENTLY DECIDED TO STAY! The back and forth for months made the talented Merrill (a triple threat with excellent songwriting, guitar and vocal skills) move to Japan to regroup!

So get yourself down to BB King's Sunday night and enjoy a piece of rock history. We think that Merrill might just wind up jamming with The Left Banke! Pardon the pun, but it's a show that you can "banke" on for luscious harmonies and infectious pop hooks! Tickets available for $25  at www.bbkingsblues.com.

The Wanted: Most Wanted Band In New York This Week!

We were lucky enough to get to hang out with The Wanted, the latest British boy band to make it on the other side of the pond, on top of the Empire State Building this week. The guys were in town to do press and to debut their single "Chasing The Sun" on MTV. We hammed it up with the guys after their big photo op on the Empire State Building's Observatory--where they weren't afraid to put their hands through the grates. We have a little fear of heights, so we stood back and snapped a few pics!
(Themacwire's contributor Anne Raso with the boys on Tuesday.)

The guys were great about taking our teasing about their hair not moving in the wind up on the Observatory and Jay revealed, "We all wear wigs" He invited us to pull on one of his forehead curls, but we know that he was just pulling our leg. The guys were also nice about the taunts from the paps to "move in One Direction or another"--after all, The Wanted has to take all sorts of comparisons in the press because of their X-Factor "brother band," One Direction!

Tom tells us that "we should have a proper worldwide album out in October or November"! We look forward to that and will be reporting about The Wanted both here and in Teen Dream Magazine. Be on the lookout.

Ke$Ha Taunts Police: "come and get me if you can find me."

Pop star Ke$ha has taunted police in California after posting a naughty photo of herself urinating in the street online.

The Tik Tok singer tweeted a snap to followers on Wednesday morning and invited cops to "come and get me if you can find me."

The photo of the star bent over with her trousers pulled down appears to have been taken by herself.

Had she been spotted, Ke$ha would have been slapped with a $270 fine.

Elton John and David Furnish Want Second Child

Elton John and David Furnish are planning to have another child via surrogate so their son will have a sibling. The couple became parents to 13-month-old Zachary on Christmas Day 2010.

Furnish tells London's Evening Standard, "I would like Zachary to have a sibling. I think he would be better with a sibling than on his own. It's something we talk about all the time. But in terms of when, where and how, nothing's decided yet."

"I think we are going to wait 'til this summer. Our life is always like a treadmill with Elton constantly working and touring. But when we go away to our house in France, that's when we sit back and go, 'OK, how is this working, how are you feeling?'"

Furnish adds the couple is considering using the same surrogate who carried Zachary, and they will not know who the biological father is.

He explains, "We could go back to the same egg donor, so biologically there would certainly be a connection between brother and brother or brother and sister."

Johnny Depp: set To Steal The Limelight From The Lone Ranger

With producer Jerry Bruckheimer, director Gore Verbinski and actor Johnny Depp back together for the first time since 'Pirates Of The Caribbean' became one of the most successful movie franchises of all time,' interest in 'The Lone Ranger' is huge, and once again it's Depp's character who looks set to steal the show; Depp plays Tonto and has already previewed his striking look. Now Bruckheimer's revealed to Mtv News that it'll be Tonto who narrates the tale.

"It's him telling the story of the Lone Ranger. ... It's his voice," Bruckheimer explained "He's not the servant that he was in the radio series and television series. He's quite a different character." Bruckheimer went on to praise Depp's famous attention to detail over his role, commenting "I think Johnny creating that character, he did it on his own. He went out with his makeup people and found an iconic image that he loved and created it for himself. He did the makeup, showed me a picture and said, 'Let's go make this movie.' It just took a while to convince Disney to go make it!"

The film apparently "has some fantasy elements in it. It's grounded, but there are spiritual elements to it," but added "It's its own thing. It certainly has elements of humor, which Gore brings to everything he does, and great action as well. It's kind of like 'The Odd Couple' meets 'The Wild Bunch.' " And with the success of 'Pirates.' when the three got together, Bruckheimer teased that he hoped 'The Lone Ranger' would lead to similarly successful sequels, stating "Hopefully this one's going to work, and if they allow us to make more, we'll make more." We can hardly wait.

All of this is going to be edited and introduced by a great music journalist who is also working for the biggest national daily newspaper in Switzerland. His name is Hanspeter Künzler and among others he also works for Germany’s biggest music magazine “Musikexpress.”

Here's an excerpt from the forthcoming book which could be found on Amazon or directly from www.theinterviewpeople.com.

"You don´t want to party every night with the drugs and the girls and the Rock’n’Roll but some nights you might"

Paris in spring 2003, several weeks before the Stones kicked off their 2003 world tour.

There is music coming out of the lobby bar at one of the most famous hotels in Paris. One sign that we’ve popped into a very special place is the pricing of two long drinks and a club sandwich. You can almost afford an inner European flight for that money – and I’m not talking economy class. Three other German journalists have the pleasure to talk to Mick before I get to do it. And you never know: do they ask questions that will make him upset? Is he not going to be in the mood for any further conversation with a journalist? But it doesn’t seem so. Mick’s publicist, a very kind , friendly and funny guy takes me up the stairs to the first floor. “Don’t you wanna look into my bag in terms of security,” I ask the gentleman. Walking half a meter before me he turns his head around, smiles and says: “Nope, we are not Madonna.”

Entering the room Mick appears to be so much smaller than you know him from TV appearances. Smiling, he welcomes me with a hand-shake and is ready to talk right away…

Hi Mick, what have been your career highlights?

Mick Jagger: It was great to getting the band going the very first time because you start to be successful for the first year or first couple of years and you´re like: All your little teenage dreams are, so to speak, coming true and you feel young and very ambitious and you’re starting to be successful – that feels really good, like getting your first job, doesn’t it?

What about the bad times?

Mick Jagger: Bad times. There’re lots of bad times in a career, you know. The Rolling Stones have had a pretty long career and always there´s been good things and bad things. People die, you know. But I mean I guess most of the times it´s been pretty positive.

What would you do if you had the chance to use a time machine?

Mick Jagger: It´s quite interesting, you know. Do you ever read history books about “What if?”. What if Napoleon had conquered Russia and then it wouldn´t be like … and so it´s interesting if you follow these books through to their logical conclusions but it´s not really interesting unless you can do that. You know it is easy for me to say: Would have been nice if I had been a film director or a ballet dancer or an accountant. What would have happened? But you don’t know the answer.

Do believe in fate?

Mick Jagger: I don´t. But the problem is that your not completely in control of your life when you´re young.

Have you ever told your children to do or not to do something because of your experience?

Mick Jagger: You´re always telling and that’s what it is to do, it’s parenthood. What you do is giving parts of your experience to them. I mean, you don´t always save them from real life. Or you can use examples. That´s what you do with children all the time.

Someone once said: If you don´t advance, you´re dead. So: How far can you still advance after your big success?

Mick Jagger: You have to keep yourself from just repeating yourself. It´s very difficult to do in anything. Wether you´re a writer or a journalist or a painter. Especially the rock business is very narrow. It´s like a very narrow political party with very few views in it. And as soon as you´re striving it goes: “Oh no, wait a minute!” If you do a rock show with 25 half naked dancers, everyone goes: “Oh no but it´s awful, you can´t do that!” So the confines of it are very narrow and it´s very hard to keep anything interesting going within the narrow confines. So there are many, many conventions that you have to keep up.

Do you think that bands these days also have the chance of becoming as big as the Stones are?

Mick Jagger: I think so. I mean the only thing is it´s been going longer as a musical form. So rock music as defined by, let’s say four blokes playing in a band, was quite new in the early 60ies. But now it´s 40 years old as you put it out. The whole idea and form is older now. So how many generations? Two? Three generations? So it´s like an old thing being handed down now. It´s probably more difficult to make such splash as it was, for that reason.

Do you have to do so much light show and other stuff on stage?

Mick Jagger: It depends where you´re touring. In the early 60ties where you were playing in theatres, people don´t do a tremendous amount of all that stuff. And it was going on in the sixties. That´s where it all started, I mean there were a lot of that. But we´re going to play a theatre show that is very little, so in the Circus Krone show shouldn’t be much pyrotechnics. But if you´re playing in a bigger stadium, you gotta do something visual. You can´t just go on. That’s like a guitarist view of world.

Doesn’t that keep the attention away from the audience?

Mick Jagger: Yeah, but I think that really when you go to a big stadium show the people that go, “the punters” as we call them, are not really just going to hear some pristine music, it´s just a sort of allround experience. It´s halfway between going to a football match and a music show. You´re really looking forward, you want something to enhance your experience visually. To amplify and enhance the experience you need a bit more than just the music. The thing is that musicians think that´s all the people want, but I don´t share that view.

Are you very extraordinary when it comes to choose the hotel room or suite?

Mick Jagger: I don´t know, not really. (laughs) It´s sort of silly. When I´m working I like to have certain things. When I´m not working I do not really care about them very much. But when you´re working you want certain things. I don´t like to have a noisy traffic too much because then I can´t sleep for the show. The problem is: When you´re working you don´t want to sleep late because you want to be ready for a nine o´clock show rather than nine to five job. So I don´t like staying in the hotels that are noisy.

You are over 60 years of age. Do you still like to party with the girls, drugs and Rock´n´Roll after every show?

Mick Jagger: No, you don´t want to party every night with the drugs and the girls and the Rock’n’Roll but some nights you might …

Are the hotel-lobbies still as crowded with groupies as they used to be?

Mick Jagger: Well, some places are good. But it is not really where you look for your entertainment, to be honest.

What music are you currently listening to?

Mick Jagger: I don´t know, I listen to a lot of stuff that I bought when I was to see what´s in the store. The other day I bought some new records. I listen to some jazz. I mean I listen to everything to be honest. I´ve been to India, listened to a lot of Hindi-dance-music, it´s like pop here in England.

Someone said that this tour was announced to be the last … Mick Jagger: Well, I don´t know. You know, that’s the entertaining thing: You don´t really know what´s gonna happen. I´m planning and trying to work out what´s gonna happen next. So I´ve been working on what´s gonna happen at the next Rolling Stones show.

Chaz Bono And Josh Hutcherson Receive GLAAD Media Awards

"Dancing With The Stars" contestant Chaz Bono and "Hunger Games" star Josh Hutcherson both took home top honors at the 23rd annual Glaad Media Awards in Los Angeles on Saturday. Bono was honored with the Stephen F. Kolzak Award, which is given to an LGBT entertainment star.

Chaz's mother Cher was on hand at the event to present the award and presented the award to her transgender son, saying:

"I'm here because Chaz has the most courage of almost anyone I know. The other day I was having a big meltdown (like you do) and Chaz said, 'Are you going to come to the [GLAAD event],' and I went 'Chaz, you know, I'm not doing well right now' and . . . he texted me and said 'I turned into a very understanding, smart man and you can call on me.' And it made me feel so good, like I could lean on someone. It touched my heart."

Hutcherson was honored with the Vanguard Award for his Straight But Not Narrow anti-bullying campaign. The 19-year-old is the youngest ever recipient of the award.

Demi Lovato Responds To Cocaine Rumors

Demi Lovato has tackled rumors she used cocaine while battling personal problems.

The singer/actress sought professional help in 2010 for a number of issues, including an eating disorder, depression and self-harming.

Lovato has been brutally honest about her battles since leaving rehab but had failed to respond to reports suggesting she was regularly involved in drug-taking before she faced her issues.

However, she has now opened up about the subject in a new interview with Fabulous magazine, and when asked if she took cocaine in her dark days, she says, "It's something I don't really want to talk about. What I can say is that I was depressed. I would come off stage in front of 18,000 people and suddenly be alone in a hotel room. I'd come crashing down and would try and find a way to recreate that feeling to stay up."

And the singer claims she was regularly offered drugs by promoters to entice her to keep returning to certain venues.

She adds, "Promoters gave me drugs and alcohol in restaurants or clubs. They wanted me to come back so I would be seen there. They were basically kissing my a**. I thought they were my friends. I thought I was having fun."

"Being a celebrity can be dangerous. Nobody says 'no'. That's why so many end up overdosing and dying. It could definitely have happened to me."

After a two year-long divorce battle, Caesar Milan, star of “Dog Whisperer” has reached a settlement with his ex-wife.

According to court documents obtained by celebrity gossip site TMZ, Milan makes $170,000 a month and will now have to pay his wife a lump sum of $400,000 in addition to $23,000 a month in spousal support and $10,000 a month child support.

Milan’s wife Illusion retained a divorce attorney and filed papers in July of 2010 siting irreconcilable differences. Illusion also asked the court to grant her custody of their two sons Calvin and Andre.

The couples married 16 years ago when Illusion was 18 and Milan was 24 have had some troubles in the past. The couple separated after their first son was born, but reconciled shortly after wards.

In exchange for the large settlement, Milan’s divorce lawyer managed to get a solid confidentiality agreement, which states that any “intimate personal and/or private information about the party…including details of their personal and/or sexual relationships,” must remain confidential."

Milan, who came to America from Mexico with only a hundred dollars in his pocket, built a sizable business after eight seasons of his popular show. His former wife Illusion helped him manage Caesar Milan Inc., which produces a variety of dog care products.

Michael Jackson's Former Bodyguard Seeks To Prove He Is Blanket's Father

A former bodyguard for Michael Jackson is claiming that he is the biological father of Jackson's youngest son Blanket, real name Prince Michael II, and is willing to take his plight to the courts to prove it.

Matt Fiddes, who served as Jackson's security guard in the United Kingdom, claims he gave the singer a sperm donation in 2001 after a discussion about Michael wanting "athletic" children, just a year before Blanket was born.

According to the Daily Star, the martial arts expert said: "I am going to lodge my DNA and formally ask the Jacksons for access. I want visitation rights. Michael is their father and I do not want that to change, but I want the children back in my life. The only way that's going to happen is through legal action. I think Blanket is mine but I want final proof."

Fiddes also claims he turned down over $800,000 that Michael offered him for the donation, which he believes is proof that he's not just after money.

"All I want is access if he's my child, to take him out, and spend some time together," he said. "My mum is dying of cancer. I want her to see Blanket more than anything."

Bee Gee Robin Gibb Out Of Coma

Bee Gees star Robin Gibb is awake after falling into a coma earlier this month.

The singer has been fighting for his life in a London hospital for days after developing pneumonia, just weeks after announcing his colon and liver cancer had gone into remission.

The 62-year-old's bandmate brother Barry and his family flew to Britain from their home in Tennessee last weekend to join the bedside vigil for the Bee Gees icon, and Robin's wife, Dwina, revealed the Stayin' Alive hitmaker has been using music to "try and bring him back to us", singing to his ailing sibling and playing their songs.

And it seems the music therapy has worked. In a brief TV chat outside the hospital on Friday, Dwina revealed her husband is making a miraculous recovery.

She says, "He's really, really good. I can't believe it... He's nodding and when we ask him questions, he's just responding to everything."

Dick Clark To Be Cremated

Dick Clark's family has chosen to cremate the beloved TV mogul's remains and scatter his ashes in the Pacific Ocean in lieu of a traditional funeral service.

The veteran broadcaster, 82, passed away on Wednesday after suffering a massive heart attack.

A slew of celebrities, including close friends Kenny Rogers and Betty White, have been paying tribute to the late star, but they will not get the opportunity to bid farewell to Clark at a memorial ceremony - his grieving relatives have chosen to pay their own respects to the late star in their own private, low-key way, according to ETonline.com.

Elton John: 'Levon Helm Will Live On Through My Son'

Elton John is convinced he came up with the perfect tribute to Levon Helm by naming his son after The Bandstar.

The Rocket Man immortalized the rocker in his track Levon and also named his baby son after the musician, calling the tot Zachary Jackson Levon.

Elton was devastated to hear of Helm's death from cancer on Thursday, but hopes to keep his memory alive through his little boy.

He tells Entertainment Weekly, "When I heard The Band's music from Big Pink, their music changed my life. And Levon was a big part of that band... He was the greatest drummer and a wonderful singer and just a part of my life that was magical."

"They once flew down to see me in Philadelphia and I couldn't believe it. They were one of the greatest bands of all time. They really changed the face of music when their records came out.

"I had no idea he was sick so I'm very dismayed and shocked that he died so quickly. But now my son has his name."

Nicholas Sparks' 'The Lucky One' Could Top 'Hunger Games'

After four straight weeks of dominating the box office, "The Hunger Games" could finally give up the number one slot on the charts this weekend, as romantic drama "The Lucky One" should have enough appeal to finish as the top box office draw. Also hitting theaters this weekend is comedy "Think Like a Man," though at just 1,800 total sites it will have a hard time even landing in the top five. Another title getting a fairly limited release is Disney's nature documentary "Chimpanzee," which will hit 1,500 theaters this weekend as it hopes to find a home with family audiences.

Even though novelist Nicholas Sparks hasn't seen one of his books turn into a runaway blockbuster, he's provided the material for a bevy of bona fide hits over the years, setting the stage for "The Lucky One" to hit with its intended demographic. Recent Sparks adaptations like "Dear John" and "The Last Song" have played well with their target audience, helping secure a release of more than 3,000 theaters this weekend for "The Lucky One." In a similarly sized release, "Dear John" hauled in $30 million in its opening weekend back in March of 2010, though most Sparks releases have opened in the $13 to $16 million range.

Starring Zac Efron and Taylor Schilling, "The Lucky One" should have a large enough built-in audience to at least get it off the ground this weekend, particularly with few other options for date audiences. Efron doesn't have the same level of popularity as Channing Tatum, the star of "Dear John," but "The Lucky One" still looks to be poised for a steady opening in the neighborhood of $20 million, which should easily be enough to topple "The Hunger Games" as it enters its fifth weekend in theaters.

Dancing With The Stars Results Recap: Dance Duel Determines Elimination

ABC

To add an extra dose of suspense to this week’s elimination, Dancing with the Stars bosses implemented a Dance Duel between the two lowest scoring contestants. "It's amazing just being part of the show. Knowing Karina Smirnoff, of course, having a great mentor. And getting to reach out and know all these amazing people who are a part of this show,” the singer said after his elimination.
In addition to White, the remaining contestants include William Levy, Gladys Knight, Maria Menounos, Donald Driver, Roshon Fegan, Melissa Gilbert and Katherine Jenkins.

Fandango Survey Unmasks "Avengers" as Most Anticipated Summer Movie

Our friends at Fandango, the nation’s leading moviegoer destination, today revealed the results of its “Most Anticipated Summer Movie Survey,” in which Marvel’s “The Avengers” grabbed the top spot among all films picked by both men and women. The poll – which surveyed thousands of moviegoers on their must-see list for the biggest movie season of the year – also revealed that this may be a huge summer for Australian newcomer Chris Hemsworth, who stars in two of the summer’s most anticipated releases.

Male and female moviegoers offer a decidedly different perspective on the can’t-miss films of the summer. While women gravitated to the revisionist Kristen Stewart fairy tale drama, “Snow White and the Huntsman,” men stuck to their guns with action adventures -- like “The Avengers” and “The Dark Knight Rises,” which ranked number one and two on the most anticipated summer movie list.

“It’s clear from the Fandango survey that there’s something for both men and women at the movies this summer,” says Fandango Editor-in-Chief Chuck Walton. “After an incredible first quarter, Hollywood is delivering even more spectacular choices for moviegoers in what’s shaping up to be one of the biggest summers in years. As our survey indicates, all eyes will be on Chris Hemsworth. The Australian heartthrob, who stars as ‘Thor’ in ‘The Avengers,’ and as the male lead in ‘Snow White and The Huntsman’, sits atop both the men’s and women’s ‘Most Anticipated’ lists.”

According to Fandango moviegoers, below are the top picks among men and women:

Men’s Picks for Most Anticipated Summer Movie:

1. “The Avengers” 31%

2. “The Dark Knight Rises” 23%

3. “The Bourne Legacy” 14%

4. “Men in Black 3” 8%

5. “Prometheus” 7%

Women’s Picks for Most Anticipated Summer Movie:

1. “Snow White and the Huntsman” 22%

2. “The Avengers” 16%

3. “Men in Black 3” 13%

4. “The Dark Knight Rises” 10%

5. “Dark Shadows” 8%
