Lindsay Lohan Attends Court Hearing

Lindsay Lohan made an overnight dash from New York to Los Angeles to attend a mandatory court hearing on Wednesday morning after initially insisting she was too ill to fly.

The Mean Girls star had prepared to skip Wednesday's hearing after her new lawyer, Mark Heller, submitted a doctor's note to the court on Tuesday, explaining that his new client had been advised by medics to stay in the Big Apple and rest after contracting a respiratory infection.

Heller claimed the actress had been examined by a doctor on Saturday - the same day she was photographed shopping in Manhattan.

However, Lohan subsequently caught a late-night flight to appear before Judge Stephanie Sautner and answer allegations she lied to California police following a car crash last year - and the court official couldn't help but make light of the sick note, telling the star, "I'm glad to see you're feeling better."

Sautner then quizzed Lohan about her legal representation following the departure of her longtime lawyer Shawn Holley earlier this month, and the actress reluctantly admitted she was happy to have her new lawyer, New York-based Heller, defend her against the latest charges - even though he is not that familiar with California law.

The judge approved the change of representation and set the next hearing for March 1, reports TMZ.com.

Lohan faces three charges relating to her 2012 car crash - giving false information to a police officer, obstructing or resisting a police officer in the performance of his duty and reckless driving, which carry a jail sentence of over 240 days. The incident could also land her in trouble for violating her probation from her 2011 jewelery theft conviction.

Ke$ha Brings 'My Crazy Beautiful Life' To MTV

Ke$ha is teaming with MTV to give fans a look inside her fabulous, freaky — and frequently furry — world with a brand-new documentary series, called (rather appropriately) "Ke$ha: My Crazy Beautiful Life."

The new series is set to premiere on MTV this April, and follows Ke$ha as she navigates the drama and madness of both her personal andprofessional live, traveling the globe and recording her Warrior album. Shot over the course of two years, and directed by Ke$ha's brother, Lagan Sebert and family friend Steven Greenstreet, the show promises to give fans an intimate, no-limits look at her rise to superstardom ... and her attempts to follow-up that success with her sophomore album. And in doing so, it also explores family bonds, love, friendship and the passion Ke$ha pours into her music. —MTV News

Elton John Shows Off Newborn in Family Photo

Elton John has introduced his second son to the world in a touching family photo.

The musician and his partner David Furnish became dads again earlier this month when a surrogate gave birth to a son, Elijah Joseph Daniel Furnish-John.

The proud papas have now posed for a new family snap, which shows a beaming Sir Elton cradling Elijah while Furnish holds their 2-year-old son Zachary.

The veteran star also tells People magazine how he and Furnish were in the delivery room in Los Angeles to see Elijah’s birth.

He says, “We tried to create a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. We were excited at the prospect of Elijah’s birth as we were at the prospect of Zachary’s – but much less nervous,” and Furnish adds, “I would say we feel more secure in our parenting skills now – it’s far less scary than the first time ’round!”

Andy Griffith Actor Jim Nabors Announces Marriage To Longtime Male Partner

Officially coming out to the media as gay, Andy Griffith Show actor Jim Nabors has announced his marriage to his partner of nearly 4 decades, Stan Cadwallader. Since same sex marriage is not legal in their native Hawaii, Nabors and Cadwallader traveled to Washington State to exchange vows.

The private ceremony was held on January 15 in a room at Seattle’s Fairmount Olympic Hotel. A few of the couple’s friends from Hawaii attended.

"It's pretty obvious that we had no rights as a couple, yet when you've been together 38 years, I think something's got to happen there, you've got to solidify something. And at my age, it's probably the best thing to do,” Nabors, 82, told Hawaii News Now of marrying Cadwallader, 64.

"I'm 82 and he's in his 60s and so we've been together for 38 years and I'm not ashamed of people knowing, it's just that it was such a personal thing, I didn't tell anybody," he explained.

"I'm very happy that I've had a partner of 38 years and I feel very blessed," added Nabors. "And, what can I tell you, I'm just very happy."

Nabors is best known for playing Gomer Pyle on The Andy Griffith Show and Gomer Pyle, U.S.M.C. Cadwallader is a former Honolulu fireman.

Bieber's Representative Explains Photo

A representative for Justin Bieber has moved swiftly to deny reports the singer groped a fan's chest after a recent concert in Miami.

The Boyfriend hitmaker found himself embroiled in controversy on Tuesday after a picture of him apparently grabbing a female fan's chest went viral after she posted the snapshot on her Twitter.com page.

The teen, named Jocelyn, took to her Twitter.com page to defend her idol, writing, "NO I did NOT ask Justin to touch my boobs... He kissed me on the cheek in the picture & it looks like his hand is there."

Now a spokesperson for the pop star has spoken out to make it clear Bieber did not touch Jocelyn inappropriately.

The rep tells EOnline.com, "It's ridiculous. That definitely did not happen."

The picture scandal is the latest in a string of problems for Bieber - he split from girlfriend Selena Gomez at the end of 2012, and earlier this month, he was photographed smoking what appeared to be marijuana in a California hotel room.

Lindsay Lohan Too Sick to Attend Hearing

Actress Lindsay Lohan has submitted a doctor's note to skip her Los Angeles court appearance on Wednesday after reportedly becoming ill while in New York.

The Mean Girls star is due to appear in court to fight claims she violated her probation from a 2011 necklace theft conviction by allegedly lying to a police officer following a car crash in California last summer.

She faces three charges from the incident - giving false information to a police officer, obstructing or resisting a police officer in the performance of his duty and reckless driving, which carries a jail sentence of over 240 days.

However, it appears Lohan won't be well enough to attend her first hearing in person - on Tuesday, her new lawyer, Mark Heller, filed legal papers notifying the judge that she has been ordered by doctors not to fly after coming down with an upper respiratory infection.

In his court documents, Heller claimed Lohan had been examined by a Big Apple medic on Saturday - the same day she was photographed shopping in Manhattan. Those pictures have since surfaced on TMZ.com.

The new charges are the latest in a slew of legal problems for the star - she is also battling allegations of assault in New York, where she is accused of punching a female club-goer during a night out in November.

Miley Cyrus' Rep Dismisses Rumors

Miley Cyrus' representative has assured fans the singer and actress has not secretly wed Liam Hemsworth, despite declaring she was happy to be "married" in a new magazine interview.

The Party in the U.S.A. hitmaker, 20, had fans reaching for the confetti after suggesting she had exchanged vows with The Hunger Games star during a candidCosmopolitan interview about the perils of finding lasting love.

She told the publication, "I'm happy I don't have to date anyone. I was like, 'I'm so happy I'm married, because you guys are cruel!'"

She further fueled the marriage speculation by insisting that her dream wedding would be small and private, stating, "I can't even get coffee without a million paparazzi following me, so I don't know why anyone thinks I'm going to have this huge, extravagant wedding. That is so not who I am."

However, Cyrus' spokesperson has played down the comments and is adamant the star is still a bride-to-be.

The rep tells People.com the happy couple, which became engaged last year, is "definitely not married".

Michael Nesmith of the Monkees Announces 2013 Solo U.S. Tour Dates

by Dave Swanson

After the huge success of last year’s Monkees tour, the usually reclusive Mike Nesmith has been recharged and is embarking on his own solo tour this spring. Nesmith took to Facebook to deliver this information today (Jan. 28). The dates are listed below.

“This is the tour to break in the show,” he wrote. “See if you like it, earn the promoters confidence, and see if anybody comes. If it goes well we will keep going later in the summer/fall and hit the states we missed on this half-lap of the U.S. If it goes poorly we will stare blankly into the future and post pictures of cute animals and food.”

Two weeks ago, Nesmith teased his fans – also on Facebook – with the news of an upcoming solo tour in an amusing and offbeat post. “I thought the man and woman at the door might be from a religious group,” he wrote. “I was wrong. It was an easy mistake to make, it turns out they were from TIAPWWGAI (The International Association of People Who Wont Go Away) and I had been per-approved for membership. I found out later that acceptance in the club is automatic at a certain
age. I wondered how they got my name and they said they heard I was going on tour in the U.S. this Spring.”

The band for this tour will consist of Nesmith on guitar, bassist Joe Chemay, Paul Leim on drums and Boh Cooper on keyboards. Rock on, Papa Nez!

Michael Nesmith 2013 Tour Dates:

3/21 – Nashville, Tenn.
3/24 – Los Angeles, Calif.

Barry Manilow Recovering From illness

Singer Barry Manilow is suffering from both bronchitis and the flu.

The Mandy hitmaker was forced to scrap a string of his Manilow On Broadway shows last week, including the big opening on Thursday, after falling ill with the respiratory disease.

It has since developed into the flu.

Apologizing to fans for the cancellations in a lengthy post on Facebook, he writes, "This has to be the worst experience of my life!

"The bronchitis that hit me turned into the flu that hit everyone in New York and all my doctors could do was to give me stuff to make it a little easier to get through. In the end, they all said I'd just have to ride it out until it ran its course. I cannot apologize enough.

"As I was lying in bed, hacking, coughing, with chills and fever, I kept thinking of all the people whose plans had been ruined. I think the Jewish guilt I felt was even worse than the sickness itself! But, when I got enough strength to go online, instead of complaints (which people would be justified in writing), I found nothing but kindness and understanding. Which made me go for the Kleenex (tissues) again. So, thank you to all for being so understanding about this nightmare."

Manilow reveals he's making promising progress in his recovery - and he is aiming to resume his Broadway residency at St. James Theatre as early as Tuesday.

He continues, "The GOOD NEWS is that I'm getting better! Everything is easing up and day-by-day I'm coming out of the dark. My voice is returning hour by hour and I'm feeling human again. I'm pretty sure I'll be ready to go on Tuesday night. (Unless I get hit by a truck!)

"So, I will be on that St. James stage on Tuesday night giving it my all and more grateful to all of you than I can ever express... All I can do is offer each of you my deepest thanks and hope that I'll see you at the St. James! All my love! Barry."

The partnership is perfect for Swift. The soft drink brand is best known for its iconic red packaging.

In a video on her official website, she says, "I wanted to share some news with you because we're actually making it official with one of the great loves of my life... Diet Coke...

"We've been in conversations about this partnership that's gonna include so many fun things having to do with the tour, having to do with Diet Coke in general, behind the scenes of the commercial shoot."

Claire Danes Opens Up About Newborn Son Cyrus At SAG Awards

When Claire Danes walked the red carpet at the SAG Awards on Sunday she had other things on her mind besides whether or not she would win best actress for her starring role on Homeland. The actress was thinking of her newborn son Cyrus when she stopped to talk to E! host Giuliana Rancic.

"He's six weeks and getting fat. It's very exciting. All that time on the boob is starting to result in growth," Danes said.

"He's getting rolls ... thank goodness they've arrived. He's starting to smile a little bit and he kind of knows I exist," she revealed. "That's reassuring – that feedback is amazing."

Cyrus is Danes’ first child with husband Hugh Dancy. The couple welcomed him on December 17.

Danes, 33, ended up winning best actress in a drama series for her role as CIA agent Carrie Mathison. Speaking to Rancic about the intense role, Danes said her home life helps her step in and out of character easily.

“I'm able to disassociate," she said. "There are all these unconscious rituals that help me engage and disengage – like taking my wedding ring on and off helps free me up. I wouldn't be able to sustain it otherwise."

Hugh Hefner Announces Death Of Secretary Mary O’Connor

It’s a sad time for everyone at the Playboy Mansion. Hugh Hefner has announced the death of his longtime secretary, Mary O’Connor.

"Mary passed away today. We loved her more than words can say," the Playboy mogul tweeted on Sunday.

The cause of death is unknown, but TMZ reports O’Connor’s health had been failing in recent months. Insiders says Hefner, 86, is taking her death “extremely hard.” No other details were immediately available.

O’Connor was a fixture of the Playboy mansion. She served as Hefner’s secretary for more than 40 years and also acted as a “housemother” to his girlfriends. O’Connor appeared on the Playboy reality show, The Girls Next Door.

Hefner’s new wife and his former girlfriends paid tribute to O’Connor on Twitter.

Former Girls Next Door star Kendra Wilkinson tweeted, "RIP Mary O'Connor. She was an amazing person who helped me through so much.”

Chris Brown Under Investigation For Assault On Frank Ocean

Chris Brown is at the center of another assault investigation. The troubled rapper, who is still on probation for the 2009 beating of girlfriend Rihanna, is accused of attacking R&B star Frank Ocean over a parking space at Westlake Recording Studios in West Hollywood on Sunday. In addition to Brown and Ocean, four other men were involved in the alleged altercation.

"Chris Brown and the victim were involved in an altercation over a parking space. The altercation allegedly led to Chris Brown punching the victim," the Los Angeles Police Department said in a statement.

Ocean tweeted about the incident. “Got jumped by chris and a couple guys. Lol,” he wrote. “Cut my finger now I can’t play w two hands at the grammys.”

Brown has not commented.

The 23-year-old has a history of violent incidents. He had a violent meltdown in March 2011 following a Good Morning America interview in which he was asked about beating Rihanna. Brown reportedly broke a window in his dressing room and screamed at GMA staff members before storming out of the building. Last June he was involved in a nightclub brawl with Drake. Eight people were injured in the altercation. Neither Brown nor Drake was charged in the incident.

Justin Bieber On Selena Gomez Split: I’m Trying To Get Through It

Justin Bieber is finally opening up about his split from Selena Gomez. Speaking to Billboard, Bieber insists that most of the reports about the reason for their split are “fake stories.” The most recent reports say Bieber cheated on Gomez with a 22-year-old nursing student.

“There's so many rumors. People say I call Selena every day and she won't pick up the phone or I'm chasing her down, and these are all fake stories," the teen says. "I don't go on blogs or anything like that. I hear things. People tell me if something happens on the Internet. It gets back to me, definitely."

Admitting that he is “not in the happiest place that I’ve ever been,” Bieber says his friends are helping him get through the split. "I'm trying to get through what I'm going through. Like I said, I have my really close friends to cheer me up and keep me going,” he tells Billboard.

“I have great friends. We have a blast. They keep me occupied and my mind off of the negative things. It's funny when people are like, 'You're 18. What have you really gone through?' I'm thinking, 'What do you mean? When you were 18, you don't think that you went through stuff?' When you are 18, you're going through that transition. You have a high school girlfriend, you might not. Going to college. Figuring yourself out, leaving home,” he adds.

Gomez has not commented.

Taylor Swift Shuts Down Tabloid Rumors

Singer Taylor Swift has shut down ongoing rumors about her love life, insisting she didn't purchase a home next to her ex Conor Kennedy or buy Harry Styles Beatles memorabilia for Christmas.

The Love Story hitmaker was thought to have shelled out $4.5 million for an oceanside estate in Hyannis Port, Massachusetts last summer so she could be closer to the 18-year-old son of Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.

However, Swift jokes that's simply not the case, telling Spanish TV show El Hormiguero, "People say that I'm buying houses all the time that I'm not buying. It's like every time the press thinks I like a guy, they say I am buying a house next to them."

The media struck again just before the holidays, with reports suggesting the country star was shopping for autographed Fab Four items for her then-boyfriend Styles of One Direction, but the tabloids were all mistaken.

Swift continues, "And also they think they know what I'm getting people for Christmas, which they don't. I was thinking when I saw that one (rumor) that if they actually got it right I would be so sad because they would have blown my Christmas present, but they were all wrong."

Harry Styles Refuses To Meet With Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift’s hopes of reconciling with Harry Styles were dashed this week when the One Direction singer refused to meet with her. According to reports, Swift hoped to “work things out” with Styles while she was in London for a photo shoot. Styles, however, is not keen to rekindle their romance because he was “freaked out” by her cheating accusations.

“Taylor was desperate to meet up with Harry in London, but he totally ignored her,” an insider tells RadarOnline.com.

“Harry found Taylor a little too full-on and scary, and he was put off by how serious she was about him after such a short period of time,” explains the source. “Then she had this crazy meltdown, accusing him of cheating, when he didn’t. It freaked him out to say the least and he’s kind of thinking she’s more drama than she’s worth.”

The pair split earlier this month. Some sources have claimed Swift, 23, dumped Styles because he cheated, while sources said it was Styles, 18, who gave Swift the boot because he found her “sexually uninterested.” “Harry found Taylor a little sexually uninterested. While it was clear she obviously had a thing for Harry, Taylor didn’t want to put out as often as he would’ve liked,” a source told Radar. “They were sexually incompatible.”

Neither Swift nor Styles has commented.

Matt Damon Takes Over Jimmy Kimmel's Show

Matt Damon made his debut as a late night TV host by taking over Jimmy Kimmel Live! and replacing the crew with his celebrity friends.

The movie star has been the butt of U.S. comedian Kimmel's jokes for a decade, and he has been bumped from imaginary appearances on the show 1,205 times, with the host often ending his shows by claiming he had run out of time to feature Damon.

The Bourne Identity star opened the show with a fake kidnap video he had taped to promote his appearance and then took the stage with Kimmel gagged and tied to a chair behind him.

Damon said, "Welcome to tonight's episode of Jimmy Kimmel Sucks. Just for starters, let me ask you guys this - as an audience, is it weird to see a person with actual talent host this show?"

He added, "I've been waiting for this moment for a long, long time. This is like the time I lost my virginity, except this is going to last way longer than one second."

Damon then replaced Kimmel's devoted sidekick Guillermo with Andy Garcia and the host's band leader Cleto Escobedo III with Sheryl Crow before introducing Robin Williams to deliver the show's opening monologue. To make the Good Will Hunting reunion complete, the actor had longtime pal Ben Affleck step in as a cue card holder.

The Argo star, who once appeared in a comedy skit on the show as Kimmel's gay lover, pretended to be upset by the takeover and he walked out on Damon, stating, "Forget it Matt, I couldn't do it to Jimmy".

However, there were more big stars to come - Jennifer Lopez, Sally Field, Robert De Niro and Oprah Winfrey were among the celebrities who offered up video well wishes to the Saving Private Ryan actor as he continued with the show.

Winfrey said, "You have a gift, my friend. Not everybody can host a show."

Damon then tried to explain why Kimmel hated him, suggesting, "Jimmy always wanted to be an actor, and, unfortunately for him, I beat him out for every role he ever truly wanted. Jimmy has auditioned for every movie I've ever been in, every single one of them. How many did he get? None. So, he hates me."

The stand-in host then offered up skits of Kimmel trying out for roles in Good Will Hunting, The Adjustment Bureau, We Bought a Zoo, The Bourne Ultimatum, Stuck on You and Happy Feet 2, for which the comic dressed up as a penguin.

Promising another "gaggle of huge stars Jimmy Kimmel could never dream of," Damon then introduced Nicole Kidman, who has never been a guest on the show before. The actress stepped onstage, straddled the tied-up host and simulated sex with him before sitting down to chat with his replacement.

Asked why she has never guested on the show, she told Damon, "He's (Kimmel) not classy. I mean he f***ing sucks!"

During the chat, Kidman admitted she would love to work with Gary Oldman, so Damon then introduced the Brit, a regular on the show.

The Dark Knight star insisted he had no recollection of ever being interviewed by Kimmel before, and when Kidman showed Oldman a photograph of the real host, he insisted it was an "impersonator".

Reese Witherspoon and Demi Moore also stopped by to take part, joining the other celebrities on the crowded sofa.

Damon left the biggest surprise until last when he introduced Kimmel's ex-girlfriend Sarah Silverman, who once teamed up with the Bourne star to film a skit video called I'm F***ing Matt Damon.

The movie star ended the show by thanking his guests as Kimmel sat beside him with the word 'Loser' scrawled on his forehead in red lipstick. He offered the real host a chance to close the show with a few words, but when he motioned to take off his gag, Damon got his own back by saying, "I'm sorry, we're out of time. Good night everybody."

The stars are all set to return to Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles, where the show is filmed, on Friday when Kimmel unveils his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Taylor Swift “Trying To Work Things Out” With Harry Styles

Although Taylor Swift believes Harry Styles cheated on her, she is allegedly “trying to work things out” with the One Direction singer. Swift dumped him earlier this month while they vacationed in the British Virgin Islands. RadarOnline.com reports the 23-year-old country singer recently flew to London to talk to Styles about rekindling their romance.

“Taylor has serious trust issues, something that is being severely tested dating Harry. Harry courts a lot of attention. He’s a big flirt and loves the ladies. Taylor doesn’t like that and finds it very difficult to trust him,” says an insider.

Styles, 18, denied Swift’s cheating allegations. “Harry protested that he never did anything wrong, and that’s why Taylor is trying right now to give him the benefit of the doubt and trying to work things out with him,” the source adds. “But his reputation precedes him and it’s hard to believe Taylor will ever be able to fully trust Harry because the ladies just throw themselves at him and he does nothing to temper that.”

Insiders previously claimed it was Styles who dumped Swift because she was “sexually uninterested.” “Harry found Taylor a little sexually uninterested. While it was clear she obviously had a thing for Harry, Taylor didn’t want to put out as often as he would’ve liked,” a source explained to Radar. “It’s no secret he’s sexually active and is enjoying his fame at the moment. But Taylor just wasn’t up for it as much as he is. They were sexually incompatible.”

“I couldn’t be more happy or proud than to have Sheryl join us and become a wonderful part of Warner Bros. Lindsay Lohan's Lawyer Quits

Lindsay Lohan's longtime lawyer Shawn Holley has quit as the actress prepares to fight probation violation charges in a Los Angeles court next week.

The Mean Girls star reportedly fired Holley earlier this month in favor of New York-based attorney Mark Heller - a day before her plea hearing on January 15.

Holley attended the court date in Lohan's absence and entered a not guilty plea on her behalf, and told Commissioner Jane Godfrey the representation issue would be "nailed down" before the actress appeared for a pre-trial hearing on January 30.

According to TMZ.com, Lohan tried to take back the walking papers that she had given Holley and begged her to stay on, but the legal eagle decided it was in her best interests to part ways with the star once and for all, and she is now in the process of officially withdrawing from her embattled client's case.

The troubled actress is now facing a race against time to find a new lawyer and get them up to speed on her troubles as Heller is not licensed to practice in California.

Lohan is accused of violating her probation from her 2011 necklace theft conviction by allegedly lying to a police officer following a car crash in last summer.

She faces three charges from the incident - giving false information to a police officer, obstructing or resisting a police officer in the performance of his duty and reckless driving, which, if convicted, could land her in jail for over 240 days.

Lohan is also battling allegations of assault in New York, where she is accused of punching a female club-goer during a night out in November.

Shakira Gives Birth To Son Milan

Shakira is officially a mom! The Colombian singer gave birth to a healthy baby boy Tuesday night in Spain. Shakira and her boyfriend, FC Barcelona player Gerard Pique, named their son Milan Piqué Mebarak.

“We are happy to announce the birth of Milan Piqué Mebarak, son of Shakira Mebarak and Gerard Piqué, born Jan. 22nd at 9:36 p.m. in Barcelona, Spain,” read a statement posted on Shakira’s official website. “The name Milan (pronounced MEE-lahn), means dear, loving and gracious in Slavic; in Ancient Roman, eager and laborious; and in Sanskrit, unification. Just like his father, baby Milan became a member of FC Barcelona at birth.”

Shakira asked fans for their prayers Tuesday night as she made her way to the hospital for delivery. “I’d like to ask you all to accompany me in your prayers on this very important day of my life,” she Tweeted.

The 35-year-old announced her pregnancy in September just days after being confirmed as a coach for season 4 of The Voice.

"Kelly is the happiest she's ever been," an insider tells Us Weekly. "Her career is going well, and she's in a healthy relationship with a wonderful guy."

Osbourne’s famous parents, Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne, approve of Mosshart and are on board with the couple’s plans of a summer wedding this year.

The Fashion Police cohost has not commented on the rumors. She met Mosshart at the July 2011 wedding of supermodel Kate Moss and rocker Jamie Hince. Osbourne, 28, and Mosshart, 29, took their romance public later that year.

Osbourne was previously engaged to model Luke Worrall. She ended their 1 year engagement in July 2010 amid reports of Worrall cheating.

Kim Kardashian Shows Off Baby Bump In Black Dress

Kim Kardashian put her small baby bump on display Tuesday in Paris in a figure-hugging black dress topped with a fur coat. The pregnant reality star, who has been hiding her belly under baggy tops and jackets, wore the fashionable ensemble for a dinner date at çt with boyfriend Kanye West. Earlier in the day she attended the Stephane Rolland show at Paris Fashion Week in black pants, a white top and a black shrug.

West announced Kardashian’s pregnancy at an Atlanta City concert on December 30. Kardashian, who is due to give birth in July, later admitted that her pregnancy came as a shock because she was found to have fertility issues similar to those of her younger sister Khloe Kardashian. Khloe, who has been trying for a baby with husband Lamar Odom for several years, discovered from a fertility specialist that she was not ovulating.

"Khloe has been very open about her fertility issues, and I think I was always really kind of quiet about mine. I have similar issues, and so it was a pleasant surprise when so many doctors were telling me one thing and then the opposite happens,” the 32-year-old explained in an interview on the Today show. “That’s an exciting moment, you can plan for things like that. So I think it’s just such a blessing knowing my circumstances.”

Kardashian and West, 35, are already preparing for their little one. The couple recently purchased a $11 million Bel Air mansion to renovate before the baby arrives. According to reports, the mansion boasts a movie theater, hair salon, bowling alley, basketball court, gym and indoor and outdoor pools. Jennifer Aniston and Los Angeles Clippers star Chris Paul are among their new neighbors.

Justin Bieber Rules The Twitter Universe

Justin Bieber has overtaken fellow pop star Lady Gaga to become the most followed person on Twitter.

Gaga broke a number of records as she clocked up millions of followers on the social networking website, but the teenage singer has always been hot on her heels and he has now officially overtaken Gaga.

Both stars have been hovering around the 33 million mark, but Bieber overtook his rival by several thousand on January 21st.

Gaga recently acknowledged Bieber's growing Twitter fan base, writing in a message, "So proud of Justin Bieber and all the Beliebers! I'm only happy to see your fans growing in size, you all deserve it!"

Gaga has held the title of 'most followed' user on the website since she overtook previous Twitter queen Britney Spears in 2010.

The singer and her teenage rival are followed by Katy Perry in third place, while another singer, Rihanna, is in fourth ahead of President Barack Obama.

Prince Harry Kills Taliban Insurgents, Talks About Life In The Army

It's strange that 'Prince Harry Kills Insurgents' gets less media coverage than 'Prince Harry's Naked Las Vegas Romp', or 'Prince Harry is Happy that his Brother is Having a Baby', but it does.

Here, however, is a rare interview from Harry with CNN, in which he describes life in the army and divulges some harsh truths. He says that it's necessary to "take a life to save a life. That's what we revolve around" in the chat, as well as describing the way in which the army has changed."It used to be very much: front seat, you're firing the whole time," he explained. "Now, yes we fire when we have to but essentially we're more of a deterrent than anything else. Our job out here is to make sure the guys are safe on the ground and if that means shooting someone who is shooting at them, then we will do it ... It's not the reason I decided to do this job. The reason to do this job was to get back out here, and carry on with a job."

And when asked if he had actually killed any Taliban insurgents, the Prince responded: "Yeah, so lots of people have. The squadron's been out here. Everyone's fired a certain amount."

Beyonce Lip-Synched at Inauguration

Beyonce lip-synced The Star-Spangled Banner during President Barack Obama's inauguration in Washington, D.C. on Monday.

The singer wowed a crowd of more than 800,000 people as Obama was sworn in for a second term by performing a flawless rendition of the National Anthem, backed by the U.S. Marine Band.

She has received nothing but rave reviews for her performance, but now a representative for her backing band, Kristin DuBois, has confessed Beyonce was just mouthing the words to a pre-recorded studio version of the track.

She tells the New York Post, "All music is pre-recorded for the ceremony because there are so many eventualities and conditions that day. We performed, live, the band. But we received last-minute word that Beyonce was going to use the pre-recorded vocal track. Those were the instructions we were given."

It's still unclear why the Grammy winner chose not to sing live, like fellow performer Kelly Clarkson, but band director Colonel Michael J. Colburn reveals Beyonce only had one day to prepare for the gig since she has been busy rehearsing for the Super Bowl half-time show next month.

On Monday he told news website Buzzfeed, "As soon as we get information from the Presidential Inaugural Committee (about) who the guest artists are going to be, we make contact with them, find out how we can prepare arrangements that will really kind of flatter their voices - of course in the right key.

"We had Kelly in over the weekend to rehearse and record. Beyonce, she's getting ready for the Super Bowl, so we didn't have a chance to do anything with her until last night."

Barbara Walters Still Hospitalized

Broadcaster Barbara Walters is still hospitalized in Washington, D.C. with a low fever after taking a tumble over the weekend.

The 83-year-old, who was in town covering President Barack Obama's inauguration celebrations, fell and cut her forehead while visiting the British Ambassador's residence on Saturday.

She was noticeably absent from her hosting gig on The View on Tuesday, prompting Whoopi Goldberg, to read aloud a statement from Walters, which read: "First and foremost, all the people who have called, written and been concerned about me, I'm most appreciative. I'm running a low-grade fever and the doctors are keeping me in the hospital until my temperature is normal. I'm pleased that it is going in the right direction and I will be home soon."

Goldberg also revealed that Walter's injuries were significant enough to warrant stitches.

She added, "Barbara went to Washington to cover the inauguration. She missed a step and had a fall, which cut her upper temple. The doctors stitched her up and she is doing fine, but they want her to take it easy."

Taylor Swift Embarrassed By Serial Dater Jokes

Taylor Swift has reportedly had enough of jokes about her love life. Sources say Tina Fey and Amy Poehler’s remarks at the Golden Globes were the last straw for Swift.

“At first Taylor just thought it was funny how much interest people had in her love life and she went along with it,” an insider tells RadarOnline.com. “But now she’s the butt of jokes on Saturday Night Live, in the tabloids and on the late night shows. She laughed it off, but the jokes made about her at the Golden Globes got under her skin.”

During the awards show, Fey and Poehler called Swift out from the stage and advised her to “stay away” from Sam Fox, the son of actor Michael J. Fox. “She needs some 'me time' to learn about herself," Fey joked.

The Radar source says Swift is now determined to not be a serial dater. “The jokes being made about her love life embarrass her, but it’s finally hit home with Taylor,” adds the insider. “She really wants to make an effort to slow down and not jump from boyfriend to boyfriend. In a weird way all the negative press has really opened her eyes and will be good for her!”

Swift most recently split from One Direction singer Harry Styles. According to reports, 18-year-old Styles dumped the singer earlier this month because he felt she was “sexually uninterested.” “Harry found Taylor a little sexually uninterested,” an insider told Radar. “While it was clear she obviously had a thing for Harry, Taylor didn’t want to put out as often as he would’ve liked.”

“It’s no secret he’s sexually active and is enjoying his fame at the moment. But Taylor just wasn’t up for it as much as he is. They were sexually incompatible,” the source added.

Swift’s other past boyfriends include Conner Kennedy, actor Jake Gyllenhaal, Twilight star Taylor Lautner and Jonas Brothers singer Joe Jonas.

Adam West - Original Batmobile Sells For $4.6 Million

The original Batmobile featured in Adam West's 1960s superhero Tv show has sold for $4.6 million (£2.9 million) at auction.

The iconic black car, customised from a 1955 Lincoln Futura, was purchased by life-long Batman fan Rick Champagne at the Barrett-Jackson auction house in Scottsdale, Arizona on Saturday (19Jan13).

Shortly after winning the auction, Champagne told Reuters, "I really liked Batman growing up and I came here with the intention of buying the car. Sure enough, I was able to buy it. That was a dream come true."

The caped crusader's two-seater, which featured futuristic gadgets such as lasers in the show, was purchased by car customiser George Barris in 1965.

He spent $15,000 (£9,375) transforming the vehicle in 15 days for the show, and has owned it ever since.

Lindsay Lohan Director Stalls Screening

The director of Lindsay Lohan's movie The Canyons is rethinking the film's release after Sundance Film Festival bosses opted not to feature it during their 10-day independent cinema event.

Paul Schrader insists it will be months before he'll let critics and film fans see the movie, which co-stars Lohan and adult actor James Deen, because he fears the project will be unfairly savaged because of the embattled Mean Girls star's involvement.

He says, "The intense reactions to Liz and Dick and the Times Mag (magazine) article have made us realize that there will be an immediate blowback once The Canyons is publicly screened... That's the nature of anything involving Lindsay."

He adds, "In a way it's good we're not at Sundance. We weren't prepared, we weren't organized."

But Schrader insists his decision to stall screenings have nothing to do with the quality of the movie: "The film is very good. I have no qualms about that."

Michael J. Fox Slams Taylor Swift For Writing Songs About Exes

It looks like Michael J. Fox is not a Taylor Swift fan. Fox slammed the country singer after his son Sam found himself at the center of a joke about Swift’s troubled love life Sunday at the Golden Globes.

Making fun of Swift’s reputation as a serial dater, hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler advised her to “stay away” from Sam, who was escorting winners to the stage as Mr. Golden Globe. “She needs some 'me time' to learn about herself," Fey joked.

On Wednesday night, Vulture.com asked Fox if he would welcome his son dating Swift. “No. No … Just back off,” the former Family Ties star said.

He then slammed Swift for building her career with songs written about her exes. “I don’t keep up with it all. But Taylor Swift writes songs about everybody she goes out with, right? What a way to build a career,” he quipped.

Fox added that he probably wouldn’t recognize Swift if Sam did bring her home, but he would realize when he heard her next song. “‘Sam, You Piece of Sh*t.’ Oh … that was the girl you brought home!” he joked.

Swift has not commented. Her past boyfriends include Joe Jonas, Taylor Lautner, Jake Gyllenhaal and Connor Kennedy. She recently split from One Direction musician Harry Styles.

Ozzy Osbourne Injured in Fire

Ozzy Osbourne required medical attention on Thursday morning after singeing his hair and injuring his hand while tackling a fire at his home in Beverly Hills.

A candle the rock icon and his manager wife Sharon had left burning through the night exploded in its glass vase and sparked a small blaze in their living room and quick-thinking Ozzy, whose arm had been bandaged up following hand surgery on Wednesday, tried to air the room as Sharon rushed to collect some water, but her efforts to extinguish the oily flames only caused the fire to spread, singeing chunks of the rocker's long locks in the process.

Firefighters were called to the scene and quickly put out the blaze, and Sharon is thankful for their prompt response.

Revealing all about her early morning drama on The Talk on Thursday, she explained, "Everybody is fine. There was only Ozzy, myself and the dogs in the house last night.

"At five o' clock (in the morning), I heard a noise like metal had fallen. I thought it was my housekeeper coming in and she had dropped her keys on the tiles, that's what it sounded like, so I didn't pay any attention. A few minutes later, my eyes are stinging and my throat's closing up, (I thought), 'Something's weird smelling in here'.

"Then my dog started to bark. I go downstairs and the whole living room (was on fire). The candle had burst and the cracking sound was the glass and the candle exploding...

"My husband had an operation on his hand yesterday so he's in a complete cast... He comes down and goes, 'Oh, the fire, the fire!' (and tries to put it out) with his hand in the cast. Then he opens the French doors and I go into the kitchen and throw water on it and it erupted...

"Ozzy's front of his hair from (his ear down is), gone! His eyebrows (are gone)... he's got like, skinned cheeks. We are, like, two idiots, it was like The Three Stooges... Everything you are not meant to do - go to bed with candles alight, open the doors and put water on - we did it all."

The couple got a telling off from the emergency workers and now Sharon has warned other candle lovers to be extra careful.

The reality TV star also used the opportunity to issue a sincere apology to Ozzy and vow never to light another candle in their house ever again.

She said, "They (the firemen) come up, they give us a lecture, and Ozzy's like, 'She's been doing this to me for 32 years! You tell her, you tell her, no more candles!'

"I apologize to my husband because he put himself out. He made his hand worse, it started to bleed, the whole nine yards, and I'm sorry and I love you and I will never light a candle again...

"I want to thank the firemen from Beverly Hills Fire Station because you are magnificent there and I want to say to everyone out there, please, please check your candles before you go to bed."

Kim Kardashian: I Won’t Share Baby’s Name Before Birth

Kim Kardashian is exercising a new sense of privacy when it comes to her baby and her romance with Kanye West – not only will the baby not appear on the Kardashian’s E! reality shows, but Kardashian and West will also keep their child’s name private until after his or her birth.

“We'll keep the name private, I think, whenever we decide,” she recently told E!.

Keeping the Kardashian tradition of “K” names is something the parents-to-be have not ruled out. "We're not sure yet," Kardashian revealed. "I have to discuss that with my boyfriend to see where we are.”

As for her decision to protect her baby and West from the spotlight on her career, Kardashian says she is determined to not let her work “overshadow the love in my life.”

"I feel like I have divulged so much in the past. Not that that was wrong, but I just choose to be a little bit more private this time around, just for me and my family. I like to keep all that stuff about why it's so perfect and why it works and all that just between us,” she explained.

Dear Abby Writer Pauline Phillips Dies

Pauline Phillips, an advice columnist who wrote the Dear Abby column under the name Abigail Van Buren, has died at the age of 94. Phillips passed away Wednesday in Minneapolis after more than 10 years of suffering from Alzheimer’s.

"My mother leaves very big high heels to fill with a legacy of compassion, commitment and positive social change. I will honor her memory every day by continuing this legacy,” Phillips’ daughter Jeanne said in a statement.

Phillips was 37 when she began her career by contacting the San Francisco Chronicle and telling editors she could write a better advice column. Elton John And David Furnish Announce Birth Of Second Son

Five days after denying rumors they had welcomed another child, Elton John and his partner David Furnish have announced the birth of son Elijah. A surrogate delivered Elijah in Los Angeles on Friday, January 11. Elijah weighed 8 lbs., 4 oz.

“Both of us have longed to have children, but the reality that we now have two sons is almost unbelievable. The birth of our second son completes our family in a most precious and perfect way,” the couple said in a statement Wednesday. “It is difficult to fully express how we are feeling at this time; we are just overwhelmed with happiness and excitement.”

Elijah joins older brother Zachary, 2.

Last Thursday, a rep for the couple said reports of a second baby were “false.” Sources claimed the baby was delivered by the same surrogate that gave birth to Zachary on Christmas Day in 2010.

Diff’rent Strokes Actor Conrad Bain Dies

Actor Conrad Bain, who is perhaps best known for starring as Phillip Drummond on Diff’rent Strokes, has died. The 89-year-old passed away peacefully Monday at a retirement home in Livermore, California, his daughter Jennifer confirmed to People magazine.

"He'd been unconscious for a couple of days, but he was comfortable and it was very peaceful. I was able to be with him very close to the end [and] able to put my ear to his heart and sing him songs,” Jennifer told People.

"My father really was a lot like his character in Diff'rent Strokes," she added. "He had that warmth and stability. He also was a very intellectual person."

Bain got his start on Broadway starring in plays like The Iceman Cometh, Candide and On Borrowed Time. His first big TV role came alongside Bea Arthur and Rue McClanahan on Maude. He starred as Dr. Arthur Harmon from 1972 to 1978. Bain landed the Diff’rent Strokes role in 1978. He played a Manhattan millionaire who adopts two African-American boys, Willis (played by Todd Bridges) and Arnold (played by the late Gary Coleman). Diff’rent Strokes ran from 1978 to 1986.

In addition to his daughter Jennifer, Bain is survived by three sons.

Jennifer Lawrence: “I Beat Meryl” Is A First Wives Club Quote

Jennifer Lawrence has set the record straight about her “What does it say? I beat Meryl” comment in her Golden Globes acceptance speech for best actress in a motion picture comedy. During an interview with David Letterman on Tuesday’s The Late Show Lawrence said she meant no disrespect towards Meryl Streep; she was simply quoting a line from the 1996 movie First Wives Club starring Bette Midler, Diane Keaton and Goldie Hawn.

"It's never a good idea for me to wing it, but it was a quote from First Wives Club!" the Silver Linings Playbook actress explained. "Bette Midler was talking about a Globe -- I can't believe nobody has ever done it before -- where she says, 'Look what it says, it says I beat Meryl.'"

The comment prompted some viewers, including Lindsay Lohan, to criticize Lawrence’s choice of words. "No one should ever mess with a legend, such as Meryl Streep," Lohan tweeted.

Lawrence is sure she did not offend Streep. "First of all, it's Meryl Streep. You can't offend Meryl Streep. And then all of the sudden I hate Meryl Streep. Is that what this turned into? I don't like Meryl Streep? As if I had my eyes on getting that girl forever and I was like, 'Finally! I knew it would happen one day!'"

"I wanted to make a public statement and say, 'Hey idiots. It's a quote from a movie,'" Lawrence added.

Palace Rep: Prince William And Kate Middleton Will Welcome Baby In July

The royal baby will arrive over the summer! A palace spokesperson announced Monday the Duchess of Cambridge is due to give birth in July.
"Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to confirm they are expecting a baby in July," the rep said in a statement. "The Duchess's condition continues to improve since her stay in hospital last month.”

An insider says the couple plans to keep the gender of the baby a secret until delivery.

Prince William and Kate Middleton were forced to announce their baby news in December after Middleton was hospitalized for treatment of Hyperemesis Gravidarum, or severe morning sickness. Hyperemesis Gravidarum, which only occurs in about 1 percent of pregnancies, can cause fainting, lightheadedness, weight loss, vomiting and acute nausea.

Meanwhile, William and Kate are making some big changes for their expanding family – they recently placed an advertisement for a “standard housekeeping” position at their new home in Kensington Palace. A rep said the advertisement went out to those already on the royal staff. The position will include doing basic housekeeping chores and running simple errands. The U.K.'s Sunday Express reports at least 15 people have already applied for the job.

Golden Globes: Jodie Foster Finally Opens Up About Sexual Orientation

Jodie Foster finally opened up to the world about her sexual orientation and she used a big platform to do it – the 2013 Golden Globes. While accepting the Cecil B. DeMille Lifetime Achievement Award, the 50-year-old actress officially came out as gay and acknowledged Cydney Bernard as her one time lover and partner.

"While I'm here being all confessional, I guess I just have just a sudden urge to say something that I've never really been able to air in public. [It's] a declaration that I'm a little nervous about – but maybe not quite as nervous as my publicist right now. I'm just going to put it out there – loud and proud. I’m going to need your support. I am -- single!” Foster joked before turning serious.

"This is not going to be a big coming out speech tonight because I already did my coming out about a thousand years ago back in the stone age,” she said. “In those very quaint days when a fragile girl would open up to trusted friends and family and coworkers and then gradually proudly to everyone who knew her.”

Foster then opened up about Bernard and their two sons, Charlie, 14, and Kit, 11. “There is no way I could ever stand here without acknowledging one of the deepest loves of my life, my heroic co-parent, my ex-partner in love but righteous soul sister in life…Cydney Bernard,” she said.

“I am so proud of our modern family,” continued Foster. “Our amazing sons, Charlie and Kit, who are my reason to breathe and to evolve, my blood and soul. And boys, in case you didn’t know it, this song, all of this, this song is for you.”

“This brings me to the greatest influence of my life, my amazing mother, Evelyn. Mom, I know you’re inside those blue eyes somewhere and that there are so many things that you won’t understand tonight,” she added.“But this is the only important one to take in: I love you, I love you, I love you. And I hope that if I say this three times, it will magically and perfectly enter into your soul, fill you with grace and the joy of knowing that you did good in this life. You’re a great mom.”

Lady Gaga Steps Up Osbourne Family Feud

Lady Gaga is refusing to back down in her ongoing fight with the Osbourne family, insisting the reality TV stars should take the subject of adolescent bullying more seriously.

The Poker Face hitmaker started the war-of-words by writing an open letter to Kelly Osbourne after the singer-turned-TV star claimed she was being bullied by Gaga's devoted fans.

Gaga hit back by criticizing Kelly's role on TV show Fashion Police, insisting she shouldn't make nasty comments about other people's appearances. The note sparked a furious response from Kelly's mother Sharon, who called the superstar a "publicly seeking hypocrite and an attention seeker," adding, "Welcome to the real world."

Gaga has now responded to Sharon's comments, and explained why she felt the need to speak out.

In a post on her Facebook page, Gaga writes, "The 'real world' can be cruel, why not try to change it into a better place? I am an activist. Nobody takes adolescents seriously, I do. My letter to Kelly Osbourne was open, because her statements on cyber-bullying were public & as a youth activist I'm compelled to be involved."

Ryan Gosling Invites Fan to Join Him on Talk Show

Ryan Gosling thrilled a female fan when he picked her from the studio audience to appear with him during an interview on Conan.

After acknowledging that many people frequent talk shows in a bid to get on camera, the movie star opted to make someone's dream come true and invited pretty Linda from Westminster, California to join him onstage - and answer Conan O'Brien's questions.

When he asked her about her hometown, Gosling whispered in the fan's ear and she repeated his comedy comment, telling O'Brien, "I like your suit, do they make it for men?"

Gosling then whispered another line into his new friend's ear and she repeated, "You have a big mouth and you just like to run it."

O'Brien laughed and said, "This is the most hostile interview I've ever taken part in."

Britney Spears Confirms She Is Quitting The X Factor

Britney Spears has officially left The X Factor. The pop star announced her decision to not return to the show on Friday. Spears said she plans to return to the recording studio.

"I've made the very difficult decision not to return for another season. I had an incredible time doing the show and I love the other judges and I am so proud of my teens, but it's time for me to get back in the studio," she said in a statement. "Watching them all do their thing up on that stage every week made me miss performing so much! I can't wait to get back out there and do what I love most."

The statement came just one day after an insider told People magazine Spears had decided to leave. "She has made the decision that she won't be returning," the source told People. "She wants to concentrate on her music.”

Spears and former Disney star Demi Lovato joined Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid at the judge’s table for season 2 after the lukewarm response to season 1 prompted Cowell to axe original judges Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger. Although Spears’ performance as a judge received mixed reviews, her contestant Carly Rose Sonenclar made it to the final 3. Sonenclar finished in second place, losing the $5 million recording contract to Reid’s contestant Tate Stevens. Cowell’s band Fifth Harmony took third place.

There has been no word on whether Lovato will return for another season. Reid announced his departure last month. "I have decided that I will not return to The X Factor next year," the Epic Records CEO told Access Hollywood. "I have a company to run that I've kind of neglected."

Taylor Swift Was “Sexually Incompatible” With Harry Styles

The reason for Taylor Swift and Harry Styles’ split allegedly goes deeper than a simple argument. RadarOnline.com reports Styles gave Swift the boot because she was “sexually uninterested.”

“Harry found Taylor a little sexually uninterested,” an insider tells Radar. “While it was clear she obviously had a thing for Harry, Taylor didn’t want to put out as often as he would’ve liked.”

“It’s no secret he’s sexually active and is enjoying his fame at the moment. But Taylor just wasn’t up for it as much as he is. They were sexually incompatible,” the source explains.

Styles, 18, also allegedly found Swift’s love of antiques to be annoying. “Harry wants to go out to fancy bars and clubs and enjoy being young – but Taylor’s more of a homebody and all she would talk about was antiques!” another source claims. “It drove him crazy, so he gave her the elbow!”

The breakup reportedly happened last week during the pair’s vacation in the British Virgin Islands. Apparently Styles "said something he shouldn't have" and Swift returned home early.

“They had a fight,” a source told Us Weekly magazine.

“This [breakup] is definitely going to be for good,” added the insider.

It looks like Swift is already using the breakup for new music. "Back in the studio. Uh oh..." she tweeted Thursday.

Swift previously admitted to using her breakups and ex-boyfriends for song writing material. Her past boyfriends include Conner Kennedy, Joe Jonas, Taylor Lautner and Jake Gyllenhaal.

Fans Stunned By Ben Affleck's Oscar Snub

Ben Affleck has topped a new movie website poll as the 2013 Oscars' Biggest Snub.

Film fans flocked to blog sites to offer up their surprise when the movie star wasn't nominated in the Best Director category for his acclaimed Argo on Thursday morning - and he was the easy winner of Fandango's Biggest Snub survey.

Thousands voted and Affleck picked up 52 percent - ahead of fellow Best Director absentees Kathryn Bigelow (Zero Dark Thirty), who landed 20 percent and Quentin Tarantino (Django Unchained) who came in third with 12 percent.

Nominee Ang Lee was just as stunned not to hear Affleck and Bigelow's names alongside his when the nominations were announced.

The Life of Pi director says, "It's not that I don't think the others should have been nominated - I'm happy for everyone including myself - but these two seemed to be the sure thing from the beginning."

Meanwhile, Fandango film fans were also stunned that the new James Bond film,Skyfall, didn't land a Best Picture nod and John Hawkes led the overlooked actors as many moviegoers fully expected him to grab a Best Actor mention for his role in The Sessions.

In a related poll, Beasts of the Southern Wild star Quvenzhane Wallis' Best Actress nomination topped a Happiest Surprise survey with 35 percent, closely followed by Oscars host Seth MacFarlane's Best Song mention for Ted.

Justin Bieber Hit With Lawsuit

Pop star Justin Bieber has been hit with a lawsuit from his former bodyguard.

Moshe Benabou alleges the Baby hitmaker repeatedly struck him in the chest during an altercation in October, and failed to hand over more than $400,000 in overtime and vacation payments.

He filed papers on Thursday seeking unspecified damages for assault and battery and a total of $421,261 in extra wages.

Ilan Heimanson, an attorney for Benabou, who was fired last year, tells the Associated Press, "For nearly two years Mr. Benabou devoted himself completely to ensuring Mr. Bieber's personal safety. Mr. Benabou deserved, as does any employee, to be treated with respect, dignity and in accordance with the law. Unfortunately, he was not."

Insider Confirms Britney Spears Has Quit The X Factor

The X Factor is reportedly losing another judge. According to insiders, Britney Spears is departing the reality show after just one turn at the judge’s table. The pop star will spend the next year recording new music and going on tour.

"She has made the decision that she won't be returning," a source confirms to People magazine. "She wants to concentrate on her music.”

Spears has not commented.

Although her performance on The X Factor received mixed reviews, one of Spears’ contestants, Carly Rose Sonenclar, made it to the final 3. Sonenclar finished in second place, losing the $5 million recording contract to L.A. Reid’s contestant Tate Stevens. Simon Cowell’s band Fifth Harmony took third place.

News of Spears’ exit comes just a month after L.A. Reid announced he was quitting. "I have decided that I will not return to The X Factor next year," the Epic Records CEO told Access Hollywood. "I have a company to run that I've kind of neglected."

There has been no word on whether Demi Lovato, who joined the show at the same time as Spears, will return as a judge with Simon Cowell.
