GRAMMY AWARD WINNER KELLY CLARKSON TO RELEASE WRAPPED IN RED OCTOBER 29TH


(pr)—Grammy Award winner and multi-platinum recording artist Kelly Clarkson is set to release her first Christmas album, Wrapped in Red on October 29th. The album will feature brand new instant classics such as the first single, "Underneath The Tree," and title track, "Wrapped In Red" as well as Christmas favorites, "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas", "Blue Christmas", "Run Run Rudolph," "Please Come Home For Christmas" and many more. The album's first single, "Underneath The Tree," was written by Kelly and hit songwriter/producer Greg Kurstin as well as produced by Kurstin. Kelly enlisted Kurstin who was one of her partner's on the Grammy Award winning album Stronger. Together, Kelly and Greg bring a fresh, contemporary sound to this new holiday music ensuring the songs are big hits and evergreen holiday favorites.

Kelly states, "I'm super excited to put out my first Christmas record. I absolutely love Christmas music and have had a total blast recording and writing for it. I can't wait for y'all to hear it."

Clarkson recently kicked off the Honda Civic Tour with Maroon 5 on August 1st in St. Louis Missouri. The tour will end on October 6th in Los Angeles, CA at the Hollywood Bowl.

Since bursting onto the music scene 10 years ago, Kelly Clarkson has released 5 studio albums (Thankful, Breakaway, My December, All I Ever Wanted, Stronger), 1 Greatest Hits album, sold over 20 million albums worldwide, 10 million albums in the US and has had 10 singles in the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart. Stronger was certified Platinum by the R.I.A.A. and won the Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Album. Clarkson released Greatest Hits - Chapter 1 last year which featured 3 brand new tracks, including current single "People Like Us", as well as a compilation of some of her greatest hits to date. Kelly recently released her country single, "Tie It Up," which is currently rising up the Country charts.
