Madonna's Homeless Brother Lashes Out At Superstar Sister

Madonna's homeless brother has lashed out at the superstar for allegedly turning her back on him, insisting his famous sister doesn't care if he is "dead or alive".

The Vogue hitmaker's elder brother Anthony Ciccone has been living on the streets of Traverse City, Michigan for almost three years after losing his job at the family's vineyard.

Madonna previously tried to help her sibling with his alcohol battle by paying for him to attend a rehab clinic in Texas eight years ago, but the treatment was unsuccessful and reports suggest Ciccone recently spent a month in jail for public intoxication and swearing in front of children.

Hitting out at his superstar sibling, whose net worth was this week estimated at $1 billion, Ciccone tells the MailOnline.co.uk, "Madonna doesn't give a s**t if I'm dead or alive. She lives in her own world. I never loved her in the first place, she never loved me. We never loved each other.

"(I am in this position because I had) no family back-up, when the chips fell, no family back-up. I'd rather be working. What would you do under these circumstance when your family has stood against you completely?"

But Kathy Mateyer, a close friend of the family who works in the vineyard's winetasting room, claims both Madonna and her father Tony have tried to reach out to her brother several times - to no avail.

She tells the publication, "They have helped him so many times. Tony has put him through rehab and given him lots of chances. I think Madonna paid for rehab a few times."

Jim Carrey Says Fox News Slandered Him in its Coverage of His Comedy Web Video

Jim Carrey says Fox News slandered him in its coverage of his comedy web video. Comedian Jim Carrey attacked Fox News on Friday, claiming the network had slandered him in its coverage of his web video "Cold Dead Hand," which was released on the comedy site Funny or Die.

The "Mr. Popper's Penguins" star said he would have sued Fox News "if I felt they were worth my time or that anyone with a brain in their head could actually fall for such irresponsible buffoonery."

In the video, Carrey plays a country singer on the popular 1970s show "Hee Haw," as well as former Oscar-winner and NRA president Charlton Heston, who shoots his own foot off at the end of the video.

Carrey, 51, said his video was made to spotlight his "stand against large magazines and assault rifles."

Calling Fox News "Fux News" in the press release sent out by his publicist, the "Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls" star also labeled the number one cable news channel "a media Colostomy bag."

Rockers 'Kiss' Developing 'Hello Kitty' Children's Show

Rockers Kiss are going family-friendly - they are teaming up with TV bosses for a new Hello Kitty children's series.

Lindsay Lohan Photographed Slumped Under Nightclub Table

Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan has been photographed sprawled under a table in a nightclub just hours after arriving in Brazil.

The Mean Girls actress jetted to the South American country on Wednesday as part of a deal to help promote a Brazilian clothing label.

She is due to begin a 90-day stint in a lockdown rehab center in the U.S. to address her issues as punishment for lying to police over a car crash in California last year, but she enjoyed a wild night out in Sao Paulo shortly after landing in Brazil.

An image obtained by editors at TMZ.com depicts a sweaty-faced Lohan slumped underneath a table in a nightclub while wearing designer heels and a short black dress.

A report on a local website alleges the actress was hiding from onlookers after being besieged by fans wanting to take photos with her.

Zooey Deschanel Interested In Buying Black Dahlia Murder Home

Actress Zooey Deschanel has shown interest in purchasing Los Angeles' historic John Sowden House -- where the infamous Black Dahlia murder took place in 1947.

The New Girl star and her boyfriend, Dear John screenwriter Jamie Linden, were pictured visiting the listed Los Feliz property with a realtor on Wednesday -- and were given a thorough tour of the home where Dr. George Hodel allegedly tortured and killed 22-year-old Elizabeth Short, aka the Black Dahlia, in January 1947.

Photographer Jonzen Cousart tells WENN, "They were probably there for a good hour-and-a-half... It seemed like they were definitely looking to buy it."

The stunning five-bedroom property, built by architect Frank Lloyd Wright in 1926 and featuring a breath-taking Mayan-style facade, was placed on the market for $4.89 million in February.

The recognizable mansion, listed in the U.S. National Register of Historic Places, has previously featured in Martin Scorsese's 2004 movie The Aviator and was used as the residence of Timothy Dalton's character Neville Sinclair in 1991 film The Rocketeer.

The Black Dahlia crime remains one of the oldest unsolved murder cases in Los Angeles history.

Justin Bieber Visits Selena Gomez At Her LA House

It seems Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez may not be done for good. The on-and-off couple met at Gomez’s Los Angeles home on Wednesday around 3:30 p.m. for a brief visit. Bieber left after about an hour.

“Justin Bieber visited Selena Gomez at her house this afternoon," a witness tells Us Weekly magazine.

Bieber, 19, was accompanied by his driver and security guards. His team waited outside Gomez’s home.

Neither Bieber nor Gomez has commented. An insider recently told People magazine that Gomez, 20, is gradually becoming “more comfortable” with not being with Bieber.

"She's becoming more and more comfortable with her decision,” the source said. "But she doesn't like hearing the negative stuff. It saddens her. She wants the best for him. But every day she is more and more comfortable with her decision."

In a recent appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman, the Spring Breakers star joked about the breakup.

“Last time you were here, you were with a Justin Bieber," said Letterman. "That's not going on now."

"No, I'm single. I'm so good,” Gomez replied.

"Now, the last time he was on, he and I got into a conversation and he said something and I said something, and then he said something and I said something, and I made him cry,” Letterman said.

"Well, that makes two of us!" Gomez joked.

Demi Lovato Will Be Back For Another X Factor Season

Simon Cowell may find her “really, really annoying” sometimes, but Demi Lovato will be joining him for another season of The X Factor. Lovato announced Thursday she will be returning to the judge’s table for the third season.

"I am so excited to return as a judge and mentor on The X Factor. Last season was an unbelievable experience and I really enjoyed developing personal relationships with the contestants and the panel. I look forward to taking my previous experience and applying it to make this season even better!" Lovato said in a statement.

Cowell says he “couldn’t be happier” with her decision. "She's a superstar in her own right and was a fantastic mentor last year. Even though she can be really, really annoying – I truly enjoyed working with her and so did the artists,” says the entertainment mogul.

Lovato, 20, and pop star Britney Spears joined Cowell and L.A. Reid for season 2 following the departure of season 1 judges Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger. In December, Reid announced he would be leaving the show to concentrate on running Epic Records. Spears announced her departure in January.

"I've made the very difficult decision not to return for another season. I had an incredible time doing the show and I love the other judges and I am so proud of my teens, but it's time for me to get back in the studio," she said in a statement. "Watching them all do their thing up on that stage every week made me miss performing so much! I can't wait to get back out there and do what I love most."

Interview: Justin Timberlake Talks The 20/20 Experience

Today Justin Timberlake’s The 20/20 Experience debuted selling 968,000 records, and last week JT hit the TV hard with performances and comedy on SNL and a week on Jimmy Fallon – but so far Justin Timberlake has not revealed details of what the hell is going on in that handsome musical head of his…

Until Now! Myspace cornered JT at their SXSW Secret Show event and forced some candid responses out of him. Read how he wants to “fry everybody’s face off”with his songs; how he compares his Jay-Z tour to Billy Joel and Elton John; how he thinks it would be sacrilegious to compare anybody to Radiohead; how critics and radio programmers laughed him off upon release ofFutureSex/LoveSounds; how Jay-Z wanted to take his song; and how he feels if he and Timbaland actually had rhyme or reason to what they were doing “it would f**k it all up.” And what did he say about tripping at Coachella!?

A few choice teasers...

ON THE ALBUM:
I want people to close their eyes and listen to this album. WHY JUSTIN?

ON JAY-Z:
We started messing around with the track, and then Jay came in and was like, What is this?” So I was like, well, do a verse! And then…THEN WHAT, JUSTIN?

ON TIMBALAND:

We start messing around with stuff and like, sometimes he’ll come in the studio and he’ll leave his keyboard on and I’m banging out a beat on his keyboard, and he’s like…HE’S LIKE WHAT, JUSTIN?

ON REACTIONS:

I just think that anytime you put out something different, it’s polarizing. And polarizing is…IS WHAT JUSTIN?

Kirsten Dunst Says Kissing Brad Pitt Was 'disgusting'

11-year-old Kirsten Dunst in a scene from Interview With The Vampire.

Actress Kirsten Dunst doesn't have fond memories of her first kiss, insisting her smooch with Brad Pitt in Interview with the Vampire was "disgusting".

The Bring It On star was just 11 years old when she played Claudia, a woman trapped in a young girl's body, in the film, and locking lips with one of the world's sexiest men was not an experience to remember.

While Dunst admits many of her schoolmates were jealous of her onscreen romance with Pitt, but she wasn't that impressed.

She tells Bullet magazine, "I remember Brad would watch lots of Real World episodes. He had this long hair. He was just a hippie-ish cool dude. Everyone at the time was like, 'You're so lucky you kissed Brad Pitt,' but I thought it was disgusting. I didn't kiss anyone else until I was 16, I think."

A Famous Venue Where The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and The Who Once Played Has Partially Collapsed After a Fire

A famous venue where The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and The Who once played has partially collapsed after a fire.

The legendary bands performed at the Ritz Ballroom in Kings Heath, England before the club was turned into a cash converters store, which was partially destroyed after a blaze broke out on Wednesday.

Over 40 first responders were called in to battle the flames and police officials are currently investigating the cause of the fire as suspicious. No one was injured.

Jez Collins, who runs the Birmingham Music Archive, tells BBC News, "In Birmingham we've lost so much of our musical history. If you compare it to other cities like Liverpool and Manchester, which have really made something of their famous venues, we've lost a lot.

"People remember going to the Ritz to see The Beatles, The Stones, The Animals, Pink Floyd and all the big names of the time. People met their husbands and wives there and now that building's gone."

The Ritz Ballroom was shut down in the 1970s, but local officials had planned to celebrate the landmark's legacy in September, 50 years after the Satisfaction hitmakers first performed at the venue.

Marie Osmond Opens Up About Son's Suicide

Singer Marie Osmond has opened up about the night her adopted son committed suicide, revealing she knew right away something was wrong when he repeatedly failed to answer his cell phone.

The Paper Roses hitmaker's 18-year-old Michael Bryan Blosil jumped to his death from the balcony of his Los Angeles apartment in 2010, following a long battle with depression.

Now the star, who was performing in Las Vegas at the time of his passing, has spoken about the darkest day of her life in new book The Key Is Love.

In an excerpt obtained by People magazine, she writes, "Exhausted from a non-stop week with shows, I was staying in a hotel room at the Flamingo that night with my daughter Rachael. My cell phone rang around 1:30am and it was a guard at the gate that leads into my neighborhood. He said, 'Someone is here from the coroner's office. They are coming to the Flamingo to see you.'

"My heart dropped to the floor. I said to Rachael, 'It has to be Michael'. 'No, Mom, no,' she said. 'I'll call him'. She dialed and redialed. She kept saying, 'Pick up, Michael. Be there.' The officer came to the door. He said, 'I'm very sorry to inform you that your son Michael committed suicide at 9:25 this evening. I thought someone had run a knife into my heart."

Michael struggled with multiple drug problems during his youth, and looking back Osmond admits she should have seen the warning signs he was headed towards destruction: "The week my son passed away, a friend from his drug-taking days decided to pay him a visit, along with some other friends. Michael agreed to go out with them.

"The next morning, Mike told his roommate that he had woken up under a highway overpass. He had no idea how he got there. He said he had not had any alcohol or taken any drugs on his own, but felt that one of the people in the car must have laced what he was drinking with something. Michael never told me of this incident, but two days before he died I heard a change in his voice over the phone and it frightened me.

"He sounded weary and said that he felt like he had no friends. I know now that my son was masking how deeply depressed he was."

And Osmond is still struggling to deal with the grief of losing her son, adding, "Not a day goes by that Michael isn't my first thought in the morning and my last before I fall asleep... It doesn't ever get better. I've come to accept that... (but) it's a choice to stay positive."

Gerard Butler Talked His Way Out of Speeding Ticket

Scottish actor Gerard Butler once talked his way out of a speeding ticket by telling cops he was busy "saving the world".

The 300 star admits he had a brush with the law while filming new action movie Olympus Has Fallen when he was caught driving at more than 100 miles-per-hour (161 kilometres-per-hour).

However, Butler managed to avoid a fine by telling cops about his job.

He tells Digitaljournal.com, "I remember once, I was driving down the freeway at over a 100 miles-an-hour and I was just tense, gritting my teeth, and I passed a cop car. The officer put his cop lights on before I even got to him. I have been pulled over by a few cops, but they usually follow you for five minutes and make you sweat. But this guy realised, 'I ain't following him, he's gone.' I was pulled over, but I was let go after I explained I was saving the world."

Butler admits the intense work on the film made him act out of character, adding, "When you've got to train, you've got to get the fight sequences down, you gottalook good, you've got to work with all the specialists, you're working on the script and you're working with the producers - and then you have to go out and do the f**king role - sometimes, that can be overpowering. But, again it works in this situation, because this is not a normal situation. It was a tumultuous situation to say the least."

Whitney Houston's Sister-in-Law Scares Family With Facebook Post

Whitney Houston's sister-in-law scares family with Facebook post

Whitney Houston's sister-in-law and manager sparked a family suicide scare in Georgia on Tuesday when she posted what appeared to be a desperate message on her Facebook.com page, turned off her cellphone and went to sleep.

TMZ.com reports Pat Houston's friends and family grew concerned when they couldn't reach her after reading what they feared was her final post - and called the police.

Houston, who is married to the late singer's brother Gary, wrote: "Sometimes you just feel like giving up on life and its many challenges. And for the first time in my life... I’m tired... and I want to finally rest. I love you guys."

Houston awoke as cops arrived at her Alpharetta home and told them she had simply taken medication for back pain, switched off her phone and then gone to sleep. And she insisted stress was behind her Facebook post, not a death wish.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ.com that Houston was briefly hospitalized, as a preventative measure, before being released.

A representative of Beiber did not immediately return a request for comment.

The investigation was first reported by TMZ.com.

James Franco Turned Down Lindsay Lohan's Advances

Actor James Franco says he rejected Lindsay Lohan's romantic advances because he was concerned about the troubled actress and feared she was "having issues".

The actor opened up about his friendship with the Mean Girls star during a new interview with radio host Howard Stern, revealing the pair grew close several years ago while they were both staying at Los Angeles' Chateau Marmont Hotel.

Stern pressed Franco about the details, asking him, "You turned down sex with Lindsay Lohan, didn't you?" and the 127 Hours star replies, "Oh, gosh. Poor Lindsay. I haven't talked to her in a while... We were friends... I met her through friends... there was a moment when I was staying at the Chateau Marmont Hotel when my house in L.A. was being redone, so I did this thing where I just stayed at the hotel, and she had been living there for a couple years. So we were living in the same place, so I got to know her."

Stern then pushed Franco to answer the question, adding, "And you turned her down sexually?" to which Franco responds, "I mean, I don't want to brag about it. I don't know how that got out... (She) was having issues even then, so you feel weird.

"Honestly... she was a friend. I've met a lot of people that are troubled and sometimes you don't want to do that."

Yoko Ono Sued Over Clothing Line

John Lennon's widow Yoko Ono is facing a legal battle over allegations she copied her wacky clothing line from another designer.

New York City-based stylist Haleh Nematzadeh, 36, has filed suit against the star, alleging Ono stole ideas for her unconventional Fashion for Men range from a fetish-inspired line by her Smashing Starlets clothing company.

Ono's bizarre range features clothing with handprints printed over the crotch and nipple holes, and Nematzadeh claims the musician saw sketches for her women's line before tweaking the designs and passing them off as her own.

Nematzadeh, who filed the lawsuit at Brooklyn Federal Court on Friday, also casts doubt on Ono's claim that her saucy line was inspired by her late husband.

According to the New York Post, Nematzadeh says, "They took everything with no shame. They stole from me blatantly... She's (Ono is) trying to put fetish in context, but since when does fetish and John Lennon go together? When you think of the Beatles, you think of doves and trees, not that."

Ono's bizarre line is sold through online retailer Opening Ceremony.

Lindsay Lohan Blasts Drinking, Clubbing Rumors

Embattled actress Lindsay Lohan has denied reports she was boozing in a California nightclub on Saturday, insisting she spent the evening sipping water at a private dinner.

Last week, the Mean Girls star was ordered to serve 90 days in a lock-down rehabilitation center and stay away from drugs, but she was rumored to have enjoyed a wild night out drinking with friends in Santa Monica over the weekend.

However, the 26 year old took to her Facebook.com page on Sunday to assure fans it was an entirely innocent affair.

She writes, "1) It wasn't a nightclub - 41 Ocean is a members only dining club... and a private event (and) 2) It was Pellegrino (mineral water)!"

Lohan also sparked speculation of a new romance after she was spotted kissing guitarist Avi Snow at the event, where his band City of the Sun performed.

She adds, "The most important part - the band City of the Sun did an amazing job last night!"

Lohan has been given until May 2 to enroll in a rehabilitation facility after pleading no contest to charges relating to a car crash in California last summer.

On Tuesday, the star was forced to dismiss reports suggesting she hit up a nightclub just hours after her courtroom sentencing, when a lookalike was photographed hiding in the back seat of an SUV outside Los Angeles hotspot A/V.

Despite Plans For His Replacement, Leno Still Leads Ratings

Jay Leno and the "Tonight" show is one of the few remaining successful programs that NBC has on its network. So why would its executives think about getting rid of him?

NBC has confirmed that it is building a new studio for Jimmy Fallon at its New York headquarters but refuses to comment on reports that Fallon is due to replace Leno on a New York-based "Tonight" show as early as next year.

With Leno already taking potshots at network executives regularly in his monologue, the network risks repeating the nightmare of 2010, when Conan O'Brien failed at "Tonight" and NBC brought Leno back.

"They seem to be making the same mistakes over and over again with a new regime," said Christine Becker, an associate professor at Notre Dame University and author of the News For TV Majors blog. "You kind of wonder what's in the water at NBC that is making them make that decision."

On its face, such a move would seem like a proactive strategy from NBC's new corporate owners at Comcast Corp., known for its decisive decision-making.

Leno, 62, and his longtime rival David Letterman, 65, are approaching the end of their long late-night reigns. Fallon, 38 and with his own late-night show getting critical acclaim, represents the next generation. So does Jimmy Kimmel, 45, at ABC, and that network made the strategic chess move in January to give him the same time slot as Leno and Letterman.

Leno's contract expires next year and so does Letterman's, so some corporate fear might be involved: Does NBC risk losing Fallon to another network that can offer an earlier time slot than the 12:35 a.m. one he currently occupies? There's also some concern that Kimmel will establish himself as the 11:35 p.m. favorite of a younger audience before Fallon can establish himself.

While all the corporate thinking is going on, Leno has continued to stay in the ratings lead.

That's no small feat at NBC, which has seen its prime-time lineup collapse to historic ratings lows this winter. Leno, "Saturday Night Live," and Brian Williams' "Nightly News" are the only reliable ratings leaders left at the network.

Leno has held strong against the ratings challenge posed by Kimmel. So far this year, the "Tonight" show is averaging 3.42 million viewers, Letterman has 3.03 million and Kimmel has 2.57 million, according to the Nielsen Co. Leno is also leading among the 18-to-49-year-old age group that NBC considers most important. Leno's and Letterman's viewership has gone down from last year; Kimmel's numbers aren't comparable because he now has an earlier time slot.

If NBC is looking for an immediate infusion of youthful energy from Fallon's audience, that may be optimistic.

While the average age of Leno's audience is 58.1, the oldest in late-night, Fallon's audience is less than five years younger at 53.3. Fallon also hasn't been gaining in popularity; his average audience has slipped from 1.7 million last year to 1.6 million the year before, according to Nielsen.

Younger audiences seem to be elsewhere at that hour, either online or watching cable. The median age of O'Brien's audience is 39.5 and Chelsea Handler's is 35.6. Both Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert have audiences with median ages of 42.

When O'Brien replaced Leno at "Tonight," the audience didn't follow. The "Tonight" show ratings dipped alarmingly, and NBC had to bring back Leno to stave off a revolt from its affiliates. There's no guarantee that Fallon will succeed where O'Brien failed.

There's also the specter of Ann Curry, which should be fresh in the minds of NBC's new corporate ownership.

When NBC News replaced Curry as co-host of the "Today" show last summer, viewers reacted angrily — fixing much of their anger at Matt Lauer. "Today" was running neck-and-neck with ABC's "Good Morning America" in the ratings at the time; now it regularly finishes second.

How Leno's fans would react to the idea of him leaving the "Tonight" show before he wants is anybody's guess. Leno, with a relentless run of jokes targeting the futility of NBC executives in recent weeks, doesn't seem particularly happy.

Depeche Mode Refuses British Award Over TV Time

Rock band Depeche Mode has rejected an offer to receive a lifetime achievement honor at the 2013 Brit Awards -- after learning they would not be accepting the prize during the ceremony's TV broadcast.

Frontman Dave Gahan reveals the cult electronic pop band, which formed in 1980, was approached by Brit's bosses just days after his bandmate Andy Fletcher appealed for awards organizers to recognize the group's long-running success with the top honor at the February show.

He said, "We'd like to be offered, though whether we'd accept it is another thing... Quite a lot of people who previously won it said we should've got it. I don't know why we don't get considered."
Fletcher's wish came true soon after making his feelings known, but the trio ended up snubbing the award after discovering the band would not be featured in the main televised ceremony.

Gahan tells British newspaper The Sun, "I will probably get someone in trouble, but we were told we were getting a new award this year. 'Most Influential Band In The Last 20 Years' or something? Basically 'Lifetime Achievement Award' and we said, 'Yes that's cool'.

"Then we heard through the grapevine ITV wouldn't broadcast our segment. So we said, 'If they won't play us on air, then we're not going to be their most influential band.' How many other bands have had as many hits as us worldwide and been around for as long?"

No lifetime achievement award was handed out at the 2013 ceremony.

Depeche Mode aren't the only artists to turn their backs on the Brit Awards - Noel Gallagher has vowed to boycott the event in future after claiming last month's ceremony was "instantly forgettable".

Valerie Harper To Guest Star On Hot In Cleveland

Valerie Harper is making the most of her remaining time. The actress, who recently revealed she is suffering from terminal brain cancer and may have as little as 3 months left to live, is reportedly reuniting with her Mary Tyler Moore Show co-stars for an upcoming episode of TV Land’s hit show Hot In Cleveland. Hot In Cleveland stars Mary Tyler Moore Show alums Betty White and Georgia Engel.

An insider tells People magazine Harper will be joined by Mary Tyler Moore and Cloris Leachmann for the guest appearance. "The cast is really excited to have Valerie guest star. They feel she is a true icon, and they are touched by her story,” the source says.

Deadline.com reports the episode will involve the ladies reuniting their bowling team, GLOB: The Gorgeous Ladies of Bowling. Filming will begin on April 5. Harper, 73, has not commented.

Harper is suffering from leptomeningeal carcinomatosis, or cancer in the fluid-filled membrane that surrounds the brain. "This is a really complicated condition. The spinal fluid is a collection of fluid that's being circulated [through the brain] kind of like a sink. The fluid itself is growing cancer cells so they are multiplying in there. Those cells start to coat the brain,” explained Harper’s neuro-oncologist, Dr. Jeremy Rudnick.

The actress is undergoing chemotherapy to slow down the disease. "I don't think of dying," Harper told People earlier this month. "I think of being here now."

Cher Addresses Concerns For Mother's Health

Pop legend Cher is deeply concerned for her ailing mother as she battles a nasty bout of pneumonia.

The Believe hitmaker was forced to jet back from Paris Fashion Week in France earlier this month (Mar13) after her mom Georgia Holt fell ill, and now the singer has shared her worries for the 87 year old's health with her Twitter.com followers.

She writes, "Mom isnt (sic) feeling well! Pneumonia is hard for a young girl of 87... Sometimes I forget she's fragile! I think of her as tough... All the women in my family are tough, as far back as any1 (sic) can remember! She lost weight, I'm jealous! She'll bounce back soon."

Lady Gaga “Ready To Get Back To Work” After Hip Surgery

Lady Gaga is on her way to a complete recovery from the health problems that forced her to cancel her Born This Way Ball tour last month. Her manager Vincent Herbert told New York Daily News that Gaga is “ready to get back to work.”

“[She's] doing unbelievable … doing great,” Herbert said.
Calling her new album ARTPOP “very refreshing,” Herbert added that he “can’t wait for the world to hear her new music and see her come back healthy, strong and better than ever.”
The Grammy-award winning singer underwent surgery in late February on a labral tear in her right hip. “…I'm living my dream and this is just a bump in the road. I'm grateful because this is temporary, and for some it is not. You have changed my life. I love you and am proud to be a part of your lives. If you can do it, I can do it too, and if we stick together we can get through anything. Love, Gaga,” she wrote in a message to fans at the time.

Tonight Show' May Replace Leno With Fallon, Move To NYC

As Jay Leno lobs potshots at ratings-challenged NBC in his "Tonight Show" monologues, speculation is swirling the network is taking steps to replace the host with Jimmy Fallon next year and move the show from Burbank to New York.

NBC confirmed Wednesday it's creating a new studio for Fallon in New York, where he hosts "Late Night." But the network did not comment on a report that the digs at its Rockefeller Plaza headquarters may become home to a transplanted, Fallon-hosted "Tonight Show."

The New York Times reported the replacement in a Wednesday story. The Hollywood Reporter had a similar report March 1, which was denied by the network.

Looming over NBC is its failed effort to replace Leno with Conan O'Brien, which ended in 2010 with Leno regaining "Tonight" and NBC losing O'Brien to TBS.

'Amazing Spider-Man 2' Adjusts Filming For Jewish Holiday

Bosses behind action movie The Amazing Spider-Man 2 have agreed to adjust the film's production during an upcoming Jewish holiday.

Executives at Columbia Pictures responded to pressure from Orthodox Jewish leaders, who urged them to reschedule filming in Williamsburg, New York, during the festival of Passover.

The shoot, featuring Andrew Garfield in the title role, had planned to shut down several streets in the area from March 22-27 but elected officials were concerned this would cause parking problems for Jewish residents, as driving is restricted during the eight-day period.

City Councilman Stephen Levin announced on his blog on Tuesday that chiefs at Columbia Pictures have agreed to curtail production in the area over Passover.

He writes, "We expressed the importance for Spider-Man to pass-over filming during Passover and they have answered our call. Reducing the amount of parking the production uses will avoid the parking struggle that had been anticipated and will allow everyone celebrating the opportunity to safely enjoy the holiday with friends and family.

"I want to thank Columbia Pictures, Spider-Man, and the Mayor's Office of Film, Theater and Broadcasting for working together with my office, Community Board 1, and local leaders and considering the needs of my constituents. Thank you for letting my people park."

Morrison And Winehouse Were Destined To Die Young, Alice Cooper Says

Famed Gothic singer Alice Cooper is convinced he survived rock 'n' roll excess because he wasn't doomed to become part of the Forever 27 club, and always knew when it was time to stop partying.

The School's Out singer insists he was a "lightweight drunk" compared to pal Jim Morrison, who like Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix and Amy Winehouse, lived hard and died young - at the age of 27.

He tells Rolling Stone, "Nobody could talk Jim Morrison out of dying. I was a drunk, but I was a lightweight compared to him, and nobody could talk him out of where he was going. Jim was gonna go there and that was it. Same with Amy. I don't think anybody could've talked Amy out of where she was going.

"The true artists are always out on a limb. They're always the ones that are just maybe gonna die.

"I had to wake up one morning and throw up blood and realize that was a pretty good sign God was saying, 'That's about enough out of you. You could still rock & roll, but you're gonna have to do it a different way.'

"I was dying. Doctor said, 'You got two more weeks before you join Jimi, Jim and all the boys.' I said, 'I want to stick around and make records.' So I had to stop. Same with Iggy (Pop), same with Lou (Reed), same with Steven (Tyler) and Joe (Perry). They're here because they got in the crossroads and made the right choice. If not, we would've been dead, all of us.

"I think the early guys, the Jim Morrisons, the Janis Joplins, just did not want to see 30. 27 was the expiration date... and I guess they said, 'That's too close to 30, I'm just gonna burn out.'"

Jim Carrey Writing a Children's Book

Comedian Jim Carrey is set to add the title of 'author' to his resume, by writing a children's book.

He tells the Associated Press, "Sometimes when you go to a movie, that can be that. But when you read your kid a story, that is just a little slice of heaven."

If he follows through on his dream to become an author, Carrey will join the likes of Julie Andrews, Julianne Moore and Jamie Lee Curtis among the movie stars who have become children's book writers.

David Copperfield Impressed With Carell In New Magician Movie

Famed illusionist David Copperfield has heaped praise on actor Steve Carell for his portrayal of a professional magician in new comedy The Incredible Burt Wonderstone.

The 56-year-old master illusionist, who was a consultant on the project, taught Carell a number of top-secret tricks and stunts for the movie. And Copperfield, who makes a small cameo, insists he was impressed with the comedian's work.

He tells USA Today, "He's not trying to be a magician in real life. That takes years. But if he really wanted to be one, actors make great magicians. Steve loves the dreaming part of magic, and to be amazed. He doesn't want to know the secrets."

Carell also performs an illusion called 'The Hangman' in the film, which Copperfield designed for the film, and the illusionist admits he was shocked by the star's bravery: "Putting that noose around your neck over and over again can (be) fearful."

Britney Spears Spotted On Date With Rumors New Boyfriend David Lucado

About two months after calling off her wedding to Jason Trawick, Britney Spears has reportedly started dating again. She stepped out Thursday with rumored boyfriend David Lucado for a tanning and ping-pong date in Thousand Oaks, California.

Spears, 31, wore a sundress and wedges for the day out while Lucado kept his look very casual in sneakers, shorts and a Virginia Tech T-shirt. The couple tanned together at Forever Bella before heading to Four Seasons Westlake to play ping-pong in the lounge.

"She was happy and smiling and she rarely smiles, but yes, she looked happy. Her bodyguard was there too and walked them in, opening the door for them,” a witness at Forever Bella tells Us Weekly magazine.

Another onlooker at Four Seasons says Spears and Lucado appeared to be “having a fun time together.” The witnesses also notes that the duo didn’t engage in any PDA.

A source describes Lucado as a “good boy” from a “good family” in Virginia. "David grew up on a farm. He does alright. He's into restoring old cars,” the insider says.

Spears has not commented.
