Justin Bieber's Atlanta Move Protest Was a Hoax

Earlier this week, it was revealed that a neighbourhood in Atlanta, Georgia had protested against Justin Bieber potentially moving there because of his recently arrest and bad behaviour.

The wealthy area of Buckhead supposedly created a Facebook page to organise a protest against Bieber relocating there and a statement was issued, that read: "As a community here in Buckhead, we have worked hard to achieve our goals and get to where we are. Justin Bieber's relocation to Atlanta can be nothing but bad for our children, as well as the community."

Now, it has been confirmed that the whole thing was a hoax and was spearheaded by local radio station Rock 100.5's The Regular Guys show. Host Steve Rickman told E! News: "We just sent tweets out, and that's it - just social media. We did not send press releases or anything like that to our local affiliates. We're really not trying to, you know, burn everybody - we're just doing something fun,"

'We just did it as a fun thing. I mean it spun completely [out of control].We're blown away. It's a home run when you're a morning radio show."

On February 21, Bieber tweeted about being victimised and wrote: "I guess I'm an easy target for some. I'm still human. I will continue to meet hate with love. It's all about the music. Much love."
