On The Town: THE G.O.D. AWARDS AT THE U.N.


Dignitaries and Ambassadors from all around the world will assemble at the United Nations on Friday, June 20, 2014 for the Humanitarian Summit in association with The 2nd Annual Global Officials of Dignity (G.O.D.) Awards, presented by We Care For Humanity. WCH Founder and President, HH Princess Maria Amor Torres, DD states, “This is one of the biggest collaborations in the history of philanthropy.”

The G.O.D. award is the leading International recognition honoring excellence of individuals who have outstanding civic and charitable stewardship, and have significantly improved the quality of life in their communities through their expertise and talents in the fields of diplomacy, business, economy, philanthropy, and entertainment.
  

Performing at this Gala Event will be Rebecca Holden and Tony LeBron,featuring their new single, “Dreams Come True”, which even before its release has already amassed over 10 Million YouTube views from all around the globe who have embraced the song as their personal theme for hope, love, and inspiration. Rebecca, who many TV viewers will recognize from her co-starring role in Knight Rider (which is still in syndication in over 200 countries), will also act as Emcee, along with legendary record producer and entrepreneur Joel Diamond and Miss Universe 2011, Leila Lopes.

Additional performers will include: Narts Dance Ensemble; Jazz Band by Robert Mwamba and Group; Denise L. Cook-The Oracle; Reggae artist Freddie McGregor;and world artist sensation Alston Koch. There will be a Fashion Couture Show byCelebrity Couturier Tatyana Peter; Art Exhibit by HH Duke Michael Teschka; a book signing by HIRH Prince Gharios; and a silent Aaction.

In addition, this event will launch the 2nd Family Film Awards and Olympia Awards, founded by Antonio Gellini, with musical director and producer Allan Jay Friedman.
